Pretty amazing stuff. I see a couple of challenges for engine lifetime, though.

For instance, if you're routing induction air through the intake cam boxes, then how do you oil the cams without getting any splashover into the cylinders? Also, how are you going to keep the intake air clean enough so that the fine stuff that gets past the air filter doesn't wind up in the precision parts like the cams (and the drive chains)?

There's also the question about what you do with all that heat that's going out the exhaust. Here, it appears a lot of it is coupled right back into the engine.

It'll be interesting to see the cutaway version of this engine once they release it.
