Crazy wife

Hello All,

I have a bunch of notebook parts floating around, and I need a spare notebook for a project I have in mind. So I started looking at ebay on lunch today.

While looking through for "fixer-uppers" that might need a hard drive, screen, or dvd, I came across this one. Read the description, lol.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120223137775

....and I thought my wife was bad.

Learning about gravity. LOL. At least he didn't have to learn about F=MA. (Anybody who had to sit through physics for more than a class or two will recognize that equation)

Newton never married. Otherwise there'd be a fourth law.

Re: Crazy wife

Ouch that's an expensive projectile! She couldn't have just thrown something cheap like a shoe?

Re: Crazy wife

Some women are truly HIGH maintenance... Cheap projectiles won't do.

Re: Crazy wife

If the screen is cracked, you can almost bet the motherboard took a hit, in which case you have a $50 boat anchor. Its basicly there with a busted screen. My wife has never thrown anything at me, even after 20 yrs, much less a computer, and she has three laptops to choose from.

Re: Crazy wife

I just trashed a old laptop, the motherboard was bad and being that the laptop was so old it wasn't worth fixing. After reading this it gave me a good idea and I wish I hadn't trashed it.

I could have listed it on ebay for guys that have wives like that. They could have bought the old brick I had and gave it to their wife to throw instead of a good working one.....LOL

Re: Crazy wife

Top scientists agree that with the present rate of consumption, the earth's supply of gravity will be exhausted before the 24th century. As man struggles to discover cheaper alternatives, we need your help. Please...

CONSERVE GRAVITY

Follow these simple suggestions:

(1) Walk with a light step. Carry helium balloons if possible.
(2) Use tape, magnets, or glue instead of paperweights.
(3) Give up skiing and skydiving for more horizontal sports like curling.
(4) Avoid showers ... take baths instead.
(5) Don't hang all your clothes in the closet ... Keep them in one big pile.
(6) Stop flipping pancakes.

Re: Crazy wife

Screwwwww that. My fiance has been so mad at me before she looked ready to brain me with a shovel, but she's never done anything crazy. She'll walk away and leave the house before she'd damage some of my stuff out of spite. I can't imagine putting up with a nutjob who'd throw a freakin laptop at me just cause she was mad. That's an expensive little tantrum. Noo thank you.
