2009 Dodge Ram 1500
I saw and heard it on motor week that its going to have COIL SPRINGS in the REAR. And also Lockable Stoprage boxes on the bed rails .. i guess kinda like the avalanche

I was actually looking for that truck at my local auto show today, but they didn't have one there, I did see the 09 F-150, I had to take a second look because at first it I thought it was the current model, not much changed in my opinion.

Looks like they went to Nissan's and Toyota's website n copied their designs. The only thing innovative is their unique innovation to steal ideas.

That's a pretty damn sharp truck. Yeah, they took a lot of styling cues from Nissan and Toyota, but they also seem to be putting a lot of work into this truck. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of a tie down system in the bottom of the bed. I've used the hell out of that in my titan. Great for motorcycles.

You guys are forgetting what company first came up with the "big-rig' look of the trucks...you know, headlights below a raised hood look....Thats right ...dodge did. back in 92 or so. Saved them from bankrupcy (that and bringing the Viper into production).
Since then, ford and chevy (even the titan) has that look. Example:  Notice how the headlights are far to the outside and lowered to just above the bumper??

I really like the bedside cargo..but you can't access if you get a box cover or require a the beside to rest whatever you may be haulling against.
All and all...........its still a Dodge....modern junk...IMO anyway. I'm all Nissan, then Toyota thru and thru.
