I do not know if they keep statistics on offenders by their names! My mom's name is Juanita and she's as white as they come so I'll assume that when you refer to Pedro, I take it to mean that you also assume that he could be white.

Care to make a bet that 80% of the people breaking into houses isn't white? Following that logic, then 80% of the people in jail would be white. Come on Kronos, your arguments are usually a lot better than this.

If McCain keeps the US in Iraq for another 100 years, everybody will be broke so you won't have to worry about who gets more welfare.

I wish you guys would come up with some new propaganda. I have been hearing the same thing for the last 45 years. Saw your baby killer signs in the 60's, saw your signs calling returning GI's murderers. Heard your screams of hate as I was returning home, but I just looked at the wormy looking, nerd looking and coward smelling folks this was comming from and quickly decided we are better off if they don't join the Army. Never saw a protester in Nam. Saw a few dead ones with signs hanging around their neck saying ''courtesy of the 82'nd airborne''.

Cool, at least we won't have any on welfare. If that is the only way to get them off the system than I am all for it.

Well said, but I don't see social security as a wellfare. You are only supposed to draw from it if you put into it. I wish they would get rid of social security, or at least give you the option to not be in it.

Dubya does not fund SS. Dubya cannot sign a check. Congress will be the ones who steal my SS money, just like they are doing now. Dubya is just like me, just stands in amazement and watch congress take all the SS receipts go into the general fund and be spent on those in ''programs''. Some one got to support the democratic voters.

My thoughts exactly! Some in my American Legion post went back to Viet Nam to relive some old memories. When they came back, we who did not want to make the trip, asked how it went. The first thing out of their mouth was the horrors that took place after we pulled out. They heard stories of the mass murders, children were slaughtered like animals because of the way they looked, part American. American supporters were rounded up and never seen again. Some vets with missing limbs and mangled bodies, said they would have went back again to stop the slaughter. These are the ones saying we should never leave Iraq. You can question the reason for the war, but now we have to finish it. No more slaughtered children. I know there are some who just don't care, they want out now. Probably the same who like abortions, I don't care whose fault it is, just end it. I guess some can do it and go home and sleep at night. I just can't do that.

No my wish is to not put in it. That and the income tax is one of the reasons I am looking in to an over seas job. I will get to keep all my income.

Anyway, the very first person to receive a monthly Social Security check, Ida May Fuller, received over $22,000 in payments during her lifetime even though she paid only $24.75 into the system.

That is true. Remember , a lot of folks pay into the system and die early, never to get any of the money they paid in. I don't know the percentage of people that die between the ages of 20 and 65 but I am sure it is substancial. There was also going to be a lot of interest on our money but we know what happened to our money. More ''programs''.
