Don't belive I missed anything. We all know what happens in congress when no party has 60 votes. Nothing! The bill needs to reach a president to sign it. If we just forget Slick Willie and GB, the congress is the root of all our evils. No matter who is in charge, nothing gets done. They sit back every night and laugh at our stupidity for blaming Bush/Clinton. We keep trying to save the world by electing a good president, at least in our own mind, and it matters very little. The day we get smart enough to empty the seats in congress and fill with new faces, we , the people, might control things again. Until then, we control nothing except to rides in Air Force one, a temp job.

Re: Classic George W

I am an Independant.
I used to be Republican, I voted for Ronald Reagan ( The Greatest President in My opinion), and I voted for Both Bushes. I used to listen to Rush Limbaugh every day. Now I don't like either Party. They are both to blame for many of this Country's problems.
I am going to cansel out TT's vote by voting for Obama. LOL

So however irrational I am about hating Bush (I fully admit that this is OCCASIONALLY the case) you can expect even more irrational love for Bush from mr TT.
How lovely.

Re: Classic George W

Here in Texas, us rednecks sometimes vote two or three times. Might need to bring some friends. Our little community usually has a total of 1200 votes but our population is 300. Just lucky I guess. By the way, I am an independent also. Just never been able to turn far enough left to vote for a lefty.

Here in So Cal, some of us like to register the Ilegals and tell them who to vote for. LOL

Re: Classic George W

If Obama is elected, he will try to pal up with all Muslim nations. Based on his foreign experience so far, these guys will clean his plow. I think this guy is more like Rev Wright than not. I think that if the dems could do it all over again, Hillary would be leading this race but they are stuck with this guy now and they will defend him no matter what.

Re: Classic George W

So it sounds like it's news to a lot of you that politicians (presidents included) are just puppets for the people who are really in power (people with lots of money).

TallTexan nailed it. The president controls squat. It's congress making the big decisions, and big money that's swaying those decisions. It's very mafia-like. Hmmm.

Keith Olbermann????? LMFAO.

What next, a counterpoint by Rush Limbaugh???

Give me a break.

Both those AH's should duke it out and beat the crap out of each other.
