So what you're saying is, I can't state an opinion against someone to the right of McCain but others on the Forum can?
Maybe you should look to others who have called McCain a traitor, sellout, or gasp a 3rd Democrat and tell them the same thing-to think for themselves...
He didn't say you couldn't state your opinion, he just had an opinion about your opinion and said so.

Which Neo Nazi or white supremacist would you recommend to take McCain's place if you're wanting someone more conservative?
Given that most conservatives seem to want someone who is white, male, Christian, a candidate who is intolerate of other religions, races, cultures, keeps the status quo, and blames others for the US's problems, and wants to force democracy on others circa the Manifest Destiny, or who simply wants to act without thinking of the consequences, that pretty much narrows the field doesn't it?
Maybe the Republican Party can resurrect Pope Urban II...
Read the above quote carefully and determine whom is best characterized. Myself and other conservatives on this forum (around the country for that matter) have not eluded to anything remotely close to the aspersions you've so colorfully cast.
You and your ilk however, have lived up "honorably" to the opinions the majority of the country have concluded in regards to your rhetoric and its overall uselessness towards the greater good of our country. Your generalizations stated above clearly illustrate that.
Oh, and doesn't "Manifest Destiny" sound much too friendly and textbook-ish? Surely you meant to say "American Imperialism".

Gotta go. Grandson has a ball game. Watch out for old Matt, he's gonna get all stirred up when he reads the fun we have had while he was , I don't know, what do libs do when the are not on TT. Probably un-speakable things.
Sorry, some broke helo's came in. I just got off work.
Must have gotten those helo's ready. Can you work on all systems of the helo or are you rated for just mechanical or other. Is it like auto techs where you must pass certain tests to be certified to work on that particular part. Is there a Master tech that is qualified on all aspects of helo repair?

There are different licenses, A which is Airframe, it allows you to work on most of the aircraft except the engines. Then there is the P which only lets you work on the Powerplant. Then there is a FCC which allow you to work on avioncs. I have a A&P, I can work on any and every system on any aircraft. Engines, airframes, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, avioncs, rotor, powertrain and on and on.
I have not been around any newer helos. Over 40 years since I flew in them. The 34's were engine driven and noisy. They were work horses and could take a lot of damage and still fly. Several versions were made but the Hueys eventually took over everything that it's size would allow. The CH 47's did most heavy lifting along with the 54 sky cranes. You probably never been around these old relics but boy they could fly.

Let's look at what conservative-minded folk have posted...
1. Don't elect Obama because he's Muslim (even if that's not the case.)
2. The US is not going to ready for a woman. (don't even know how you all know that?)
3. Post 134 from Bhudda454-talk about blanket generalizations...McCain is a traitor? (Because he is moderative and wants to work with Democrats, and has a mind for himself?)
4. Majority of the US is conservative?
So that being the case, I can clearly see now that I am totally wrong.
Conservatives welcome all, do not pass judgements, see value in some of the opposing candidate's strategies/views, believe other religions are not out to destroy them, distinguish between Rights and time and place laws to use those Rights...and lay some blame for the country's direction at their President's feet rather than the other party...
I see the light!

Conservatives believe what the believe. Most don't stick their finger in the wind for direction, they know what they believe and so it is hard to change their minds. The problem with most liberals, is that since we do not agree with abortions, we are some how mean spirited folks. We dont believe in gay marriage, we are anti gay people. If we believe the US should be on offense and not defense, we are war mongers. If we believe in God, we are as some here have stated, ignorant rednecks who believe in fairytales. People are different. We do not all like Chevys or Fords. Some are Nascar fans and some can not get any enjoyment watching a bunch of cars running in circles. The secret to Nascar watching is having a complete understanding of the race, knowing the drivers, the crew chiefs, the owners, and yes, just being a red neck helps.
So I guess I am saying, back off, we are who we are. Just keep your liberal crap to your self and quick trying to cram it down my throat. If your liberal judges try to make what I believe is the wrong law, I will fight it with all I have. I will vote for folks who think like I do and try my best to make your beliefs the minority. That don't mean I would like to put a bullit between your eyes, I just don't see things your way. It sometimes seems to us that an athiests job is to ridicule those who believe in God and try to make them stop. They do not realize that we cannot stop believing in God. It is not the finger in the wind thing. It is something the atheist will never understand. You just gotta be there.

Because most of the above post is patronizing, child-like jibberish, I'll only address one small facet of it.
You question the statement that most of America is conservative. I say that a larger majority of the VOTING public is, in fact, very conservative. Just because CNN has a larger reach and audience doesn't mean the country as a whole agrees with what they report. Just because MTV and its mainly brain-dead viewing audience grab onto the "cool" candidate and the "hip" political icons (I dare you to ask one of the cool kids who Che Guevara is and why they're wearing his image on their t-shirt) and have a louder voice than most, doesn't mean that the rest of the mature American populace feels their "struggle". Just because Howard Stern and his posse occasionally preach their extreme left views to several million loyal listeners doesn't mean that everyone feels the same way.
The point I'm trying to make is that if you put your ear to the ground and really listen, you'll likely find that the loudest voice rarely speaks for the majority. On the contrary, it's the quiet voting educated public who convey the loudest point.
I'll also say that my posts are solely my opinion based on my own observations. I do not, by any means, think that you're wrong and I'm right but I do feel that the extreme left agenda is completely out-of-touch with the reality we face and the direction this country is, or should be, going. Is the extreme right any different? No. They're not connected either. I believe that most people fall in to a moderate conservative or libertarian category. They just don't spout their mouths at every opportunity; their "voice" is only their vote.

I agree that the loudest voice rarely speaks for the majority. This Forum is proof of that!
I also agree that the extreme-left AND extreme-right are pushing agenda items that are not taking into account the larger picture/consequences of their implementation.
And while I believe my posts are intelligent and thought out, if you are going to call them "jibberish" and you fancy yourself a grammar whore, you may want to rethink your title...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibberish
Yes, my last post at the end was facetious. I was playing off the previous posts that seem to extol the virtues of being conservative and lament the evil that it is to be liberal. Next time, I will include icons to more clearly represent that.
As I can best understand, only professed conservatives may state opinions that cast a negative light on their party of choice, beliefs, religion, etc. If the conservatives on the forum will write up what can and cannot be posted that doesn't offend them, I'm sure we will have the beginning of an accord the likes of which Begin and Sadat would be proud!

I can conclude, with a fair amount of certainty, that former Heads of State have little interest in the political quibbling of a few Titan-owning forum members.
I bet your post was, however, subjected to unauthorized NSA eavesdropping. George Bush has likely been notified and you should expect dark sunglass-wearing agents of evil to pay you an unfriendly visit. Wire-tapping at its best.
