I have FF3 already installed (on laptop).

Looks good. Only problem I have is the freaking address bar.....

change browser.urlbar.maxRichResults from 12 to 0
that is if its the bookmarks and history in the address bar being whats bothering you.

But I like to have a list of the five or six sites I goto often. If I set this to 6, will it bring back all the other stupid **** that FF had in there??


Guess I could go try it and find out....

*edit* didn't work. I like having the sites I TYPE IN to be in the address bar. But FF3 has a bunch of random stuff as well as a listing of every page of every site I visit. Thats what I want to get rid of.

Yes, for example, if I type in "ti" the list should show up with titantalk at the top

It definately loads faster than 2.x ever did. I have over 30 plug-ins and 2 used to take up to 3 minutes to load. Now it is up and running in less than 30 seconds. Now they need to get Better Gmail 2 working on this version.

I changed :

browser.urlbar.matchBehavior to 2
browser.urlbar.maxRichResults back to 12
browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled to true

and it works like my old FF2 did
