Please let the Feds come to AL and clean house around here too!!!! There are more than enough willing and able American citizens here that need the work.

The company representative stated the the company hires only legal US citizens so I can't wait to see how that turns out.

If the company is guilty, I say they should be heavily fined at least...

I also wonder what prompted the "union member" to say something now as opposed to earlier.

We have a local company called Cinram, they MFR CD's and DVD's. They are notorious for hiring illegals, and they get "cleaned out" every so often as well. There will be times when 100-200 employees will disappear. They all carpool and drive like 35-45 on the highway when they leave. The higher ups there always claim they hire legal citizens too.....but do you think they do ANY kind of research on the persons?

thats great, anyone can go get a fake ss card and ID to work under. i think they need to crack down harder. GET GREENCARDS FIRST, LEARN ENGLISH, do it right if you want to come here

I will present the other side of this scenario though I am sure I will catch slack for it. There are some "illegal" residents that work hard, pay into the tax system for which they will never collect social security from, and attempt to get legal while a bunch of crooked "immigration attorny's" take their money.
I say this because I know a few guys in this situation being that I work in construction. I have no tolerance for guys who don't work or contribute to society but if someone is willing to work hard at a job that most Americans won't do (I am in this category as a manager) I have nothing but respect for them.

I don't doubt that there are illegals who can and do contribute meaningfully to American society.

However in this day and age, there is no distinction made for being a bad or good illegal and those that wish to partake in the "American Dream" need to finish what they started and become citizens...because we need them.

They all get lumped together because they all have come here illegally. And the vast majority get whatever they can out the system. I agree some should come, but not all. Controled immigration is ok, but what's going on looks more like an invasion. The people involved in hiring illegals should be locked up.

So what happens when you or your buddies (illegals) get hurt, and have to go to a not-for-profit hospital to get fixed and ditch out on the payment and let it ride on the shoulders of the American citizens? Or how about the birth rate for hispanics? It's like the plague. Who foots those bills?

America is welcoming to hard working citizens. Not fence jumping, no tax paying,illegal immigrants that cheat our systems every day.

Some of the hispanic illegals are hard workers, we understand that. But the rise in gang violence and brutal crimes is sharply climbing from some of these thugs sneaking in. Would we expect anything less from them but hard labor intensive work? I hate that it's that aspect that is keeping the situation under and out of control by the government. If they can put thousands of troops over in other countries, i'm pretty sure we can keep the borders secure.

Im pissed because they didn't haul off the mothers as well. I frankly don't give 2 squirts if it broke up their family. If you wanted to keep your family together, then come here legally.

It doens't matter if they are hard workers they are freaking criminals and should be treated as such. Send them back with NO chance of every being a U.S. citizen.

Yes, frequently they use the SS# of a citizen, paying into their SS account and thus increasing their benefits. So they do contribute.
