Re: Ufc 91

Round 1 goes to Lesnar, but it was close. Couture seemed to be on the defensive most of the round.

That's all she wrote. The younger and stronger fighter won.

I was busy at work, so I just saw this or I would have posted this earlier. Sopcast shows all the UFC fights. That's how I watch at work. Can be choppy sometimes, but better than nothing.

Re: Ufc 91

It was a close fight. Lesnar got a lucky punch. For being 45 Couture held his own though.

That he did for sure, Couture was wearing Lesnar out. If it weren't for that punch and this fight went to the 3rd round i'd bet Couture woulda won. Lesnar is POWERFUL that's for sure, but his conditioning (stamina) isn't there yet. Did you see how heavy he was breathing after the 1st round.

it wasnt lucky. If so then Brock is the luckiest guy ever. cuz then that massive elbow he gave him that make him wobble was lucky. Oh and when he dropped mir and heath I guess those were lucky to. Brock is a hard hitter and when he hits someone they will always feel it. But yes Randy did do well his game plan was working until brock started landing punches and elbows.

Re: Ufc 91

I am glad Lesnar won..Weee..I think Lesnar will lose the belt fast though. I don't think he is experienced to hold it for awhile. We will see though, and hopefully I am wrong.

No luck was involved at all. Couture couldn't handle his power. If you can't take a punch, how can you win?

Re: Ufc 91

I swear Dana is trying to turn it into the WWE. How in the hell can a guy with a 3-1 record have a title fight? His only one in the UFC was over Heath cause he layed on him for three rounds and his first fight he got tapped by Mir in the 1st round.

Did anyone else notice when they came to the center of the ring the way Lesnar towered over Randy? There is no way he is "only" 6'3" if Randy is 6'2".

Re: Ufc 91

Don't know why you guys are knocking Lesnar down so much. He won the fight fair and square.

I'm more pissed at Dana and the UFC than I am with Lesnar. They were just looking for the quickest way to get rid of Randy and by pairing him up with Lensar they were able to do that and score a big payday. There is no long term plan for Lesnar as far as I'm concerned. He will most likely lose the title in his next fight by submission against either Mir/Nor and then he'll just be another one hit wonder.
