So a brand new 2009 LE is $40k or so. I wonder what you could do with an additional $90 to mod the hell out of it. I'd bet that you'd come up with one hell of a truck that would put the ford to shame.

The truck will sell for alot less than that to the consumer. The ZR1 vette sold for 1 million. I remember when you couldnt touch mustang GT500's for under 75k, you can get them for high 30's now or at sticker.
Plus unannounced the Raptor is coming out with fords new motor with is the 6.2L motor that makes into the 400Hp range as well.
I just bought an 09 Titan, I love it. Although I am not to closeminded to say that Ford stepped up the bar with the new redesign of 09 F series, its probably a better truck.

WHAT?? Are you just upset you don't have a man-step on the back and side of your Titan.

LOL - that's a great thought!! Ford stepped up the bar with another ugly, underpowered truck. Way to go Ford - how much more of the taxpayer money do you need to keep building sh1t?

hahahahah
So upset that is why I went and bought a TITAN
Although they are ugly I think its a stepup from their last attempt. Still underpowered YES. Then again. I bought my TITAN for a reason so chill out hahahah
I do have a softside for fords, my weekend toy is a cobra so give me some slack here

Ok, that's more like it. I can't blame you there, Mustangs have always been my favorite. I'm hoping to keep my Titan around for a long time, and when it's paid off my summer car with be a new Mustang, hopefully..

That guy should have bought the first T-bird instead...Hes problably some douche bag that lives in scottsdale too. But he is a douche with alot of F-in $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I think he could have bought a way cooler ride with that money. Like what was posted earlier he had to be first. Guess he didn't realize he'd be the last one to the check point in a desert race either. Imagine how bad-a$$ our Titan s would be with that kind of money in them? All we'd need is some long travel.
so when i put the prg mt kit on my truck and my titan would be 10x better and still have 100gs in the bank. one word MORON!!!!!!!!!!

The money from the sale of the Raptor went to a charity. That's
why the bid was high.
- Ford will auction rights to the first retail version 2010 Shelby GT 500.
Ford will also sell the first 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor offered to
the public. All proceeds from these Ford vehicles will be donated
to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Charity is cool, but that was a cheesy looking thang...

I actually think Ford put some well thought out features in that thing. I just got done reading the article and watching the videos. My guess is $40-50K for the average consumer when it hits the market.
