Guess what my little brother get's for his first car? A 1992 Ford Mustang LX Convertible with the 5.0L and 4spd AOD. Kinda unfair, but I love the car and we're getting it repainted and reupholstered, then I get to handle the performance mods. What do you guys think? I'm bored today cus I can't start back to work until Monday.

Wait, did you get a Titan as your first car? Personally, that is hands down a sicker first car. What on earth are you complaining about?
No, forgot to put that I had a 1994 Ford F150 XL with the 4.9 inline 6. Drove that for 2 years before getting the Titan for graduation/xmas. Mustang > F150

if it makes you feel any better my first car was a 1979 buick regal i paid 400 for.
i'd love for some one to buy me a car
both my sisters were given cars....... lucky!
Yes yes I know my generation is spoiled rotten, but I wouldn't have any of the wonderful things I have if I didn't show to my parents I'm responsible enough for them . I love my truck, and I earned it working every summer, playing football, Boy Scouts, and did well in school, same with my brother. If they didn't think I deserved it or had earned, I sure as heck wouldn't be driving it. I love my truck. I can't wait to get the Mustang all done though, should be a fun car to drive. I just wish I could convince them to let me get a new transmission for it. The automatic is in good shape after I had it serviced, but that motor wants a 5 speed

Definitely! The AOD/AOD-E are utter pieces of poo! If you're going to keep it then I'd get a shift kit or new valve body for it. None of the other mods will matter if all the power goes through that stock slushbox.

Exactly. I just plan on doing bolt on's, but the AOD is just gonna murder it. I'm gonna post over on my favorite Mustang website to see what they say.

Lucky me I suppose. I loved my F150, but the Titan is just better in every way.

Them 5.0 can pump out some serious power for a little money (1500-2k). I have a 5.0 in my Bronco that I want to up in power a bit. So I've done a lot of research..good stuff, and parts are cheap if it breaks down!
However I wouldn't be jealous if I were you. Save up 3 grand and you too can have a 92 mustang AND a titan
