I used to have this R6 til i decided to take it and myself down a 40ft cliff. She's gone now. Insr co totaled it and paid it off for me. DAMN i miss riding.
My first bike was a '73 Honda CBR 350/4, that little inline four redlined at 13,000 rpms, I loved that bike. I sold it to get my second bike and in hindsight that was a very dumb thing to do.
My second bike is the one I still ride. I bought the '85 Honda Nighthawk 650 for $750 with 5,000 miles on it. Now I have 50,000 miles and about all I have done is bodily fluids and brakes.
My third bike someday will be Honda Interceptor or VFR for short. I just love that V4...
Here is a pic from my first spring ride of 2003, that is a frozen lake in the background. And yes, although it is 19 years old and has 50,000 miles, this sucker is clean!

Until I had a deer encounter of the painful kind. Bike and myself in process of being repaired
That is one of my biggest fears for I live in an area where those 200 pound rodents are out of control, good luck with your recovery.
I no longer ride at dawn, dusk or night because of them. I had one very close call a few years ago and I must admit; it has slowed me down. But then again I have to confess, I'm getting almost as much joy out of the S2000, shifting at 9,000 rpms is not too hard to deal with...

it doesnt surprise me to see a vast majority of truck user into sportbike's i used to ride a 1998 yamaha r1 however sold mine a few mo's after i moved into atlanta georgia..Georgia is not friendly when it comes to riding the driver's are vastly rude and dont care about who right or way it is..
you got that right! since your in Ga., check out georiasportbike.com
ive been riding with these guys and gals for over a year. they're an awsome "family"!
they do trips to the mountains every weekend. put me down as a reference if you join the site.
I have logged in just under 100,000 miles between all the motorcycles I have owned.
Currently, my '94 ZX-7 has 54,000 miles on in and my '02 MV Agusta has just under 9,000 miles on it. Heck, I logged 30,00 miles on my '91ZX-7 before I bought the '94.
The first one is of my Kawi and the second is my Italian lover, the MV.
I have an 84 Honda Magna V-65. It had 10,000 miles on it when I purchased it in 2000 and now has around 35,000. I've modified the oiling system, which was a weakness with this engine, and modified the fan thermostat, but otherwise it runs like a top!
I don't ride one of those sporty rockets that most of you seem to love.
I ride the Valkyrie it is the bike that suits me just right! I ride most of the time 2 up and usually for long trips.
Lee
This is my ride. Can't wait for Bikeweek and Biketoberfest next year.
