When the Marlins became a franchise I thought cool I've now got a baseball team. I watched and became pretty hardcore and then they won the Series and what did the owner do? Sold the team, which in turn gutted the team like a Flounder for dinner. Never watched Pro baseball again.
But I'm a huge fan of the College World Series and Little league .

i've been an Angels fan since i could hold a baseball(my daddy made sure of that.)
let's not talk about the name change. Moreno is a fricken IDIOT, but the Angels will always be my team, regardless of their name.
I got my opening night tickets, and I'll be sure to wear a t-shirt that lets Arte know EXACTLY how I feel about the name.

Have to also pull for Dodgers a little. Good friends son was signed by them and is in Spring camp. (Not doing very well so far.. Will probably play in Vegas this year AAA)

UPDATE: My friends son was "called up" Tuesday night after Jose Valentin tore up his knee. He was to be a back up as he can play outfield and has also played every infield position at AAA level. He flew to LA Wednesday morning and was in uniform Wednesday night. During game Cesar Izturis sprained his ankle and they had to move 3b to SS and put Mike at third. He had a single in his only at bat. Possibly will be playing tonight at Cinn. Reds.

It's cool man. Just saw the thread back up and figured id stir up that bees nest. Im kinda disappointed, they are playing like the old men most of them are. (i dont want any old men getting pissed at me, it wasnt a generalization)

But im not one of those people that only roots for thier team when they are winning. Like all those people that went out and bought boston hats after they one last year, although up till then you never saw them with one on. I where mine regardless, so should the rest of you.

Update #2 My good friends son, Mike is now listed starting third baseman for LA Dodgers. He got first start this afternoon and although they lost he was 2 fo 4 with a triple and scored on a suicide squeeze play.
