Ok I have made contact with Elk Grove Nissan today to gauge there interest in coming out to talk to us and look at our trucks and hear what we have to say about them. Also asked them to show us what info they have on the 06 and what to expect. HOpefully I will get a good response from them.

Looks like overall we may have a good meet here. I have also extended the invite over to the Armada site and have several interested. So between TT, CT, and CA we should be able to get a good one going here!

It looks like we are leaning towards the 7/16 date for our meeting. Shall we reach an agreement on the date and place now so that we can begin publicizing it ?

Ok I have some great news to report about this event. I am going to just set a date and plan it with Elk Grove Nissan. If anyone has any problem with this let me know hance I will wait a day to see if there is any rejections to this.

I got this excellent e-mail from Elk Grove Nissan....from the Actual owner....well anyways here it is!!

Ron, We would be happy to attend and even help sponsor the event. Why don't
you call me at your convenience and we can discuss the best way for us to
support you. I am sorry about the brake judder, the fix is FINNALY HERE I
would be happy to facilitate getting your truck done ASAP...

OK, as soon as you select a date we can start talking about what each of us can do to contribute. It was great that you got the Nissan dealer interested. Hopefully some of the guys with problems can talk with him and maybe get them pointed in the right direction. Let's just make sure that people are curtious about it and don't jump all over him. He sounds like a pretty decent guy.

I agree...they have offered to help us out...even sponsor the event and help with costs...it would be very unpolite to attack someone that comes out and offers there own money to help us and talk to us. But they seem to want to help....we shall see.

This is great you guys. I think we should go ahead set the date. It seems most want July 16th.

I would like to hear from jaysplapen...but if we don't hear by tomorrow...we will set the date. I have already posted at CT, and CA. And...one other site don't remember name.

Any ideals as to what I should ask the dealer for as in help??

How about some contest prizes and giveaway's. They can be the judges.
We can do something like: best in show, or most original mod. Things like that.

Maybe they can take some pictures so they can advertise the meet and show off the mighty Titan.

First good thing to come from John's mouth in my opinion, but I will hold my tounge and let him be involved if he would like to be. Also Chris is the parts manager at Elk grove, I had previously worked out a discount with him for us. So once you work things out with john, I would like to invite him since some of us have used his discounts already.

Ron can you see the poll results, I think I made it public. I like the later date just for the sake of time, to plan, and give people a chance to make sure they can come.
Ron if you want to jump in and plan, go for it. For some reason I have missed two days of the thread, I was not getting any email things and do not know why. Work with John, and see what he is interested in sponsoring, maybe he will donate raffle prizes. I know that he caters lunch for his employees every Saturday, so maybe if he will be a banner sponsor he can provide the food. I would love cooking the ribs for you guys, but a bigger event means a lot of cooking, and my ribs take 6 hours to make, and I only have one oven to make them in. I can make enough for 15 or 20 but not much more than that on my own.
If anybody can get your brakes fixed it will be him. When I talked with them last week they had 19 kits coming in this week and another 19 next week. Recommend an appointment, and waiting, they work much faster if you are waiting. It took them 2 hours to do my new brakes but well worth the time. The most comfy chairs are the big red ones by the front door, for while you wait. Stan has expressed interest in coming up here before hand and picking out a place, would you want to come up with him. I am open for just about anytime, my schedule is very flexible, except for this saturday have to go work with my husband on a side job.
