count me in. My buddy offered to take my kids up to redding and his little nephew a couple weeks ago fo a BAR-B-Q. So I will be off of Mack road around 10 am. i will shoot straight to the park after words. I may not be able to stay long cause my wife will be in the hospital 2marrow for a few days due to our scheduled delivery. But I must go, want to see the crew. So I guess I would be the 3rd mada at the meet

I will probably leave Modesto around 8:30 after dropping off the kids and grandmas. So at 70-80 MPH I should be there by 9:20ish...

Assuming that a bug dont' hit my truck and I have to pull over and clean it!!

I have inculed a map to the park with route for those not familiar with the area.

The Blue Line on the map takes you to a very good car wash. For 15.95 they completely wash and detail the truck. I would not recomend the extra for tire dressing as it slings all over the place, better to bring some with you and put it on at the park.

I take my truck to them all the time, and they are great. They pre-spray to get the bugs off, and uses soft brushes, to get the major dirt off, then the machine does all the rest. Then you pull over to the detail area, and the workers do the rest. Windows, vacumn and they are very detailed, and do a good job. They even clean the exhasut tips. You may want to unload your stuff at the park and then go, since it is a car wash, but I will be at the park all morning. Allow for about an hour if you want to go this route. They take some time because they are good, and saturday they are busy.

Also, I pulled a favor, and got tables and chairs for 50 people. So there will be seating, and since hambugers and hot dogs take time to cook, by the time the first eaters are done, the ones getting food can let them sit. Now if you want to bring a more comfortable chair I would understand. I am still bringing my nice sling folding ones, because they are comfortable.

Settle down Ron. Sit down, take a deep breath and let it out slowly. I know that this is very much like Christmas, but remember, it will happen, and we'll all enjoy ourselves. And remember, We all have to go to be early tonight and dream about sugar plums (whatever the heck those are), so that morning will come early. Actually for me it will come very early. It was just too darn hot to wash my truck tonight (even with a soft water spigot my windows get water spotted), so tomorrow morning at about 0630 I'll be out in the driveway washing my truck. My wife vacumed and cleaned the inside tonight (if she found a garter belt under the seat, do I really have to start wearing it ??) so it will be looking pretty good for an old work truck.
Lon, I'm really, really glad that your truck is back. I still remember how nice it looked at the Modesto get together and was looking forward to seeing it again. You have all of the bells and whistles.
Christa, I really, really appreciate how much work you've put into this. To have something come together like this takes a lot of coordination and time, and you've been willing to invest the time to make it a fantastic event. I can hardly wait to meet you and thank you personally.
And for everyone else, I look forward to seeing everyone, seeing what goodies everyone has added to their trucks, and meeting some good people. If anyone is into betting, I'll place odds that I've got the only truck there with a lumber rack. Any takers ??

Got the tomatoes, got the lettuce and got the onions.

Keeping my eye out for Rossi, he's got to distract me with his beer!

Man, this is going to be great!

Christa,

I too want to echo what Stan has posted. You are dynamite in action. We owe you for all you have done to make this meet happen in a big way. Can't wait to meet you and thank you in person.

Titan Fever!!!!!!
