Last Central Valley Picnic ?

Well, so far Christa, me and Dawgs have hosted picnics in the Central Valley/Sacramento area. The last picnic was a success because we had great people attend, but nowhere near as many as were listed as being interested. Lon has driven up from the coast for all 3 picnics and one previous Titan picnic in Modesto, which I also attended. Bill has driven down from Reno for 2 of our picnics. And we've had others attend 2 or 3 of the picnics also. But we should have way more interested members participate.

I'm not willing to host another picnic, and I don't think that Dawgs or Christa will either, until a few more people start getting involved.

I for one really enjoy getting together and swapping war stories, seeing what others have done and just being around people who share my interest in a Titan/Armada. I hope that there are others who share my desire to continue our picnics, and who is willing to play host.

Playing host involves selecting the Time, Date and Location and coordinating the list of attendees and food/drinks. Not really that big a deal, but it takes time and involvement.

So far each picnic has been hosted by a Titan owner. I challange the Armada owners to take the reins (sp?) and come up with our next picnic. If not, please, will of our Titan members volunteer to host the next picnic. I would hate to see a good thing die.

I will gladly help out anyone who plays host, and I think I can safely say that Christa and Dawgs will always help. So, who's willing to play host for our next picnic ??

I can't believe that out of the great group that we have no one is willing to step forward to host the next picnic. As I mentioned in my previous post, I'll certainly help with planning, advertising and food. Any volunteers ?

i am pretty new to the site but i love it. i also love my titan. i think it would be cool to do a crusie in at the sonic on McHenry Ave. in Modesto. i drove by there tonight and there was a corvette crusie in. just an idea, i would like to meet some fellow titan owners in the central valley. let me know what you think.

Welcome to the group. I'm not really big on something like that, but you could probably talk Dawgs into it. What you might want to do is start a new thread with that title and see what kind of response you get. I think we have enough Titan members from Modesto, Manteca and Stockton to have something like that.

Re: Last Central Valley Picnic ?

Yeah the last meet did work out but I was really disappointed on the turn out. Two people from that meet have now moved out of state and they generally go too each meet. So we are two down.

I like Stan am not really interested in trying to get everything together. It's more work then you can imagine and then when only 1/3 of the people show it get's a little irritating.

I would love to attend other meets and so forth and maybe someone will have better luck then me and Stan had!!

If you can get a big group up for a cruise...I'll go!!! They've got some good burgers there!
