Up the I-5 corridor.....

Just got back from a 2 week towing excursion, with my latest mods sans the traction bars, whiach we ran out of time on our latest mod weekend. Towed our 33 ft. Jayco up from Portland on a relatively easy haul. We have a thousand trails membership, stayed a few at Paradise near Chehalis, then LaConner, Lake Cultus in BC, then back through Birch Bay in /WA, and Mt Vernon.
What a sight. TT mashed on my newly beefed rear end, with 2 burly bikes in the back (Honda XR350 & 200).........and she did great.
We biked along the lower Mt St Helens area and came upon 30-40 elk on the Toutle. It was like stepping back in time......awesome.
My sis's family is going to Crescent Bar along the gorge this weekend, damn going back to work sucks.
I love Washington. Next is Moab, UT, and Verde Valley in AZ.

Re: Up the I-5 corridor.....

I would like to make a trip like that. We have a small tent trailer, which the TITAN has no problem towing. I grew up in Sumner Washington and frequently stay at Chehalis Thousand Trails. In fact I was there with my grand parents when Mt. Sthelens erupted and that was pretty cool. I've also over the years visted most of the Thousand Trails parks along the west coast. But now we go to Pio Pico becouse its like 25 min from the house and close to work. Sure would like to make a trip up the coast this summer or early fall. Do you have some pictures you could share?
