Sac_Titan, Glad to hear that you'll be able to attend. And yes, I'm sure your son will enjoy it. I'm not sure what is required to do the 2 degree advance, but if I have a chance I'll check with Elk Grove Nissan and see if they'd be interested. Dawgs and I had it done in Stockton for $40 each. Along with the 2 degree advance I switched from 87 to 89 octane fuel and my mileage went from average of 13.5 to 15.7. Not a bad deal. And it seems to have more pep also. But Dawgs is into performance more than me, so talk with him at the picnic.
I'm in too! Email sent and let me know what I can bring...
BTW...what is the time for this shindig? (wife works till 5 and I would like to bring her if I can....)

Bad news everyone. The store i'm working at just announced it's grand opening for sunday the 19th, and because i'm a supervisor, i have to be there all weekend to make sure everything is ready for the opening. So it looks like i have to bail out on this one, which sucks because i was really looking forward to meeting you all.
Maybe sometime later in the summer.

I think it will be me and one of my boys. It's my wifes dads 60th b-day that same day so she will be getting the party ready.
So I'll bring one of my little ones with me to pick on you stan!!

Oops. Without your wife to keep you in line we at least have to limit you to no more than a case of Bud Light. And don't say you need more cause your son will drink most of it. Your son will be too busy beating up on me to drink your beer.
I'm sorry that you wife won't be able to attend, but give her our regards and hopefully we'll have another picnic later in the summer or fall and she can attend. Did you spend last weekend with the Hemi group? If so how did that go? I was going to drive down just to harrass you, but the weather was pretty nasty.
I'm surprised that we're not getting any more interest than we are. So far we have about 15 participants but I expected at least twice that many. I'm guessing that quite a few of those who participated last year no longer check Titantalk on a regular basis, so hopefully we'll pick up a few more before the picnic. Please spread the word, as we've found in the that the the more the merrier at these picnics.
Alan,
I plan on being at the park by 10:00. My guess is that people from Sacramento will start showing up soon after that, and those who have to travel farther will show up a little later. We'll probably start the B-B-Q around 12:00 noon.

OK .. we'll probably arrive between 10:30-11:00 ... (but I'll tell the family we have to be there by 10AM) .. LOL!

I started to get a little disappointed at the lack of response for our upcoming picnic until I started thinking that it's 3 weeks away, and our previous picnics always generated the most interest during the last couple of weeks.
What I would appreciate is having everyone spread the word about the picnic to any Titan and Armada owners. After our last picnics we always ended up with people who really would have liked to attend but were unaware of the event.
Dawgs, how are things going with your drag racing? Have you made it into the 14's yet ?
ACtually Stan...I'm hitting Sacramento Raceway tomorrow April 28th.
Should have some new Track times tomorrow evening!

How about a mapquest shot of the area so those who have never been to the area know where it is. I do not think the Nav. system in the truck allows addresses like "Elk Grove Park somewhere in Sacramento" yet. It would be nice to have a physical address for the park.
