I try to hand it to the driver, but if I can't .. I leave in on the windshield ...

Yep. We've had picnics when it was 100+ and some when it was rather chilly. As Goldilocks said, this one is just right.

Depending on when I get my butt out of bed, I expect to make it there about 1100-1130. I figure about 2 hours from Reno.

Anyone know where the new Fry's Electronics store (I saw it on I-80) is compared to where we are going to be? I want to stop there on my way back home if it is on the way (or not). I need my fix.

Only Fry's I know of off I-80 is the Northgate one (4100 Northgate Blvd)
It's approx 22-23 miles NORTH of Elk Grove Park.

I-80 West to I-5.
I-5 South to Elk Grove Blvd (left onto Elk Grove Blvd)
Elk Grove Blvd (east) .. past CA99
Elk Grove Blvd .. approx 3 stop lights(?) to Elk Grove-Florin Rd (right onto EG-FR)
Go past Elk Grove High School .. park entrance on your right.

the frys is basically on your way to the meet if you are coming the directions inquiz. listed....it will be on your right (north) side BEFORE you reach I-80. (you can see it from the freeway)

You would take the Northgate exit and stay to the right from the off-ramp to turn right into the frys parking lot. Although there is talk of one opening in Roseville, to my knowledge the northgate one is the only one.

so you should be able to either hit it up before going to the meet or after.

I'm about an hours drive, so will leave my place around 0900. I need to load up my stuff and then stop at EGN to pick up their stuff. I drove by the spot the other day and noticed that there were no tables or B-B-Q's so I'll load up my trust old Weber and a couple of small tables and chairs. I suggest everyone who has them bring chairs and folding tables if you have them. There is plenty of grass there, so it's comfortable even without chairs.

I am checking in. have been busy, but will still make it.

The new frys is at 80 and Douglas blvd, in roseville. It just opened 2 weeks ago. You can take the Douglas, or eureka road exit, and it is on lead hill drive acoss and a block down from the Auto mall.

I will bring the condiments. So cross that off the list, and tortilla chips.

I will call you stan to see if anything else.

I didn't know about the NEW Fry's ..

Based upon jaysplapen info .. the Elk Grove Park is approx 35-45 mins SOUTH WEST of the Roseville Fry's.

From Fry's: I-80W .. CA99S to Elk Grove Blvd ..
EXIT then Turn LEFT (Signal light/Go over the freeway) onto
Elk Grove Blvd
.. approx 3 stop lights(?) to Elk Grove-Florin Rd (right onto EG-FR)
Go past Elk Grove High School .. park entrance on your right.
