Access Group Buy??

If I can get 12 buyers for the Access Lorado at $380, I will throw in a tailgate seal kit. If you want in just vote yes on the poll, as soon as I hit 12 I will send out a code to either use when calling in to order or just enter it online.

I don't have any pics of it on a Titan, but There are quite a few on other vehicles to give you an idea of what it would look like on your truck. The link will take you right to our product info page-

Re: Access Group Buy??

These are really good tops guys. I've had one on my 04' for about 4 years now and still works great. I could use some type of vynyl restorer to maybe bring back some luster, but not bad for 4 years of Florida sun.

Definitly a good deal for $380 shipped! I paid about $500 back in the day.

Re: Access Group Buy??

Well, I definitely would have, but I already have one!

Just to let you guys know it is a great cover, I have had it for about 8 months now, no leaks and it looks really nice, easy to roll/unroll. I had mine riveted on to the side rails. The bed extender becomes a bit annoying to use, but I know there is a mod kit out there that will make it work.

Hey realtruck, how much for just the tailgate seal and the conversion kit for the bed extender?

Can you please post some pics I just want to see how low is this? Is it flushed to the bed rails? Thank you!

Re: Access Group Buy??

Hey Josh, do you guys sell the restoring lubricant for these tops? I've had mine for 4 years now and it could use a good shine.

Re: Access Group Buy??

Here you go, the it shows the cover, cover open, and how they attached it to the side rails (sheetmetal screws). I had mine done at a local truck shop and they installed it for me, I think I paid a bit over $400 or so for it. LOVE IT!

Re: Access Group Buy??

FYI, If you don't have the Utilitrac you can just use the clamps instead of sheetmetal screws.

I do have the cleaner available, its called Pro-Tex made by Truxedo

-Also I have decided to drop the GB price to $370-

Here's a little something I found on here about the differences between the Lo Pro and the regular Access cover, The Lorado is the same as the original except that the rails have a 43 degree angle to them.

iTrader: (0) Access cover and lorado Vs. Truxedo!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have seen alot of questions about the differences on access covers and truxedo covers so i thought i would give my 2 cents worth on these. The truxedo is a good cover but the access is a better cover.

-The material on a Access cover product is a specially grained vinyl that only access cover has the tooling for. I was described to me like this: Your couch and seats usually break down due to dirt getting trapped in the fibers and over time rubbing aginst each other breaking the product down. Tonneau covers are the same the "Leather" graining on most tonneau covers is a standard grain done by the vinyl mfg not the tonneau mfg. Access is bought w no graining and then added by Access not as deep to prevent dirt from becoming trapped and breaking the tonneau cover down.
-The angle at which the rail is laid over is also a specific angle 66 degrees to be exact. If you look at the cover even a display will do this when you lock the rear down the front velcro is already attatched on a truxedo and by securing the rear the velcro actually will tear at the hook and Loop fastening system that is why truxedos velcro slides in the track access does not do this any one w a access cover can tell you when they close the rear the front velcro still has to be sealed down. the rail on a Lorado or access is also a 2" contact patch vs 1 1/2" on a truxedo.
-As for the latch: the latch on a truxedo is a aluminum latch latching on a aluminum rail this combined with the normal vibration of the truck will wear the latch out faster. An access cover has Fiberglass reinforced Nylon latches and parts nearly indestructible! Also the Latch on a Truxedo is what keeps the cover closed if you have looked at a truxedo and played w it you have noticed when you trip the latch the cover will pop open this is due to the fact that there is constant pressure on the latch. On an access closing the rear over center is what keeps the cover closed not the latch(no constant pressre on the Latch)!
-The adjusters: a truxedo has 2 flat tipped screw driver slots that when screwed in put pressure on a spring. An access cover has a threaded rod that moves the front header bar forward no tools needed also lasts longer springs will loose tension over time.
-Parts: both covers carry a lifetime mfg warranty. BUT such as the buckles the buckels on a truxedo are sewn on if you break one they will happily get you a new one but having someone unstitch and resew one on is on you. The buckles on a lorado access cover are bolted on and if one breaks they will send you a new one and it is matter of taking one bolt out and putting it back in w new buckle in place. Access covers also come w an additional weather seal in the front. All seals are made of the same stuff the cover is made of= lifetime seal warranty! The additional weather seal however is not it is a rubber/foam seal 2 seals on the front of an access vs 1 on a truxedo.
-One last bit of info the access cover comes over the top of the tailgate and the truxedo only comes up to and meets the tailgate.

Which ever way you decide to go both covers will do the job but the access covers will do it better!!!!
