Tom, I'm actually on Norris Lake, about 25 miles north of Knoxville. I used to drive to Newport nearly every day when I did field service work. It's not that bad of a drive.
How long would it take you to get to Knoxville?

I also imagine that going the route around Maryville that leads to NC is a possibility.
How far are you from Fontana Dam? I've ridden motorcycles over there quite a few times.

The next time we plan a meet, we'll have to do it so that everyone who is coming will be able to get there and back home the same day. A lot of us aren't that far away from each other when you think about it.

Hey jc. I'm not far from the Bass Pro shop. I live about 5 or 6 miles north of there. That is the perfect place for all the guys to go while all the girlfriends/wives are shopping.

I was there (Bass Pro Shops) yesterday. You're right, it's the perfect for me and the wife to go shopping!! She can't take BPS, and I can't take the rest of the mall

I'll probably be back down the end of Feb. when BPS has their big spring sale..

I remember when you guys met, and she called you a "pedophile".

You told her "that's a mighty big word for a 12 year old..."

I think I feel a twinge of jealousy with you and Lon.
One of my friends told me that marrying a younger woman would kill me, that might be so, but man what a way to go.
Anyway, to hear it from some people that's the way it's supposed to be in Tennessee isn't it? You either marry them young or you marry your relatives.
All my relatives are too ugly to marry.
