tnbowhunter are ya'll thinking of having a meet some time soon? If so and if it isn't too far away, I would like to meet up with every one. I live in North Knoxville, off the Merchants Rd. exit. I drive the silver KC with tinted windows. Just thought I would let you know if you ever see it around. I also have a Marine Corps license plate.

Well hello, you just missed a mini meet a couple of months ago. Steve the "pagerdaddy" and I along with our wives met up with Lon "37L1" and his wife in Maryville for dinner. Lon is a moderator on this forum and will be retiring and moving to Maryville in the next couple of years.
It looks as if there are a lot more people from Tn. and surrounding areas now, we definitly need to get together sometime.
Steve lives above Knoxville and I live about 60 miles south. Mabey this spring we can meet up in Gatlinburg or Seveirville.

Hey brother Dave, a little bit out of your element arent ya.
I guess we could adopt you into the South Eastern region, but you'll have to become a redneck.

I could fit in...but I might have to learn the language. Just teasin you a bit, cause it's what I do. If I come out that way sometime, you might have to adopt me for a day or two...and I would surely reciprocate.

It's not hard learning the language, it's eating our souther cuisine that might take some getting used to. Chittlings, possum[sp] mountain oysters, and of course Steve's favorite good ole liver cheese, yum yum.
I'd be glad to have you out, might roust out a quail or two with that new pup of yours.

I think that I could eat any of that stuff. One time on an Elk hunt, I ate Turkey Nuts, deep fried in Dixie Fry and dipped in chip dip....Norbest's finest leftovers. Kinda like eatin' tater tots....of course I had a little bit of southern Whiskey in me to get me primed. And if you can get past the smell, I understand that liver cheese is mighty tasty.

Pup is 3 days old...45 more days, and I will be picking him out of the litter.
And I just might take you up on the offer some day. Might even drive the Titan out your way. I found out the other day, that it gets better mileage if I pour a bottle of Saki in the tank...and one in the Titan too.

I heard some guys talking about nutting hogs one year, and they always saved them in a bucket for some old guy that liked them. There was a dog running around there, so they went ahead and nutted him along with the hogs.

They asked the old guy later if he liked them nuts, and he said "sure, but there was one little pair in there that was kinda sour".
