Where and whom did you purchase your Titan from? Would you recommend them again to friends and family? After buying the wife's 2005 MDX, I am finally ready to purchase now as soon as I can find an LE CC w/Nav, Side Airbags, and Big Tow. Any thoughts?

I purchased from Town Center and am still wondering what they hell happened through most of the selling process. They did all the old tricks of "write down a number" and moving amounts around. It took 3 hours to get the deal I was happy with and I still felt "slimey". I found out later they actually wouldn't give a friend of mine's the keys to the truck he was trading in back!!!
Since then I've been working with Team Nissan in Marietta and have been really really pleased. I wished I'd bought from them.

I bought mine from Regal Nissan in Roswell. Was happy with it, dealt with David.
However, the best guarantee for a good buying experience is doing as much as you can through the Internet, so you don't get caught negotiating at the dealership.
Get in, sign the papers, and get the hell out.
BTW, service department is also pretty good there. They take care of you there. The only thing that sucks at Regal is the parts dept. Take your money, then forget about you, never call when the parts/accesories are in. No big deal, ordering on the internet now.

I bought mine at Team Nissan in Lithia Springs, west side of ATL. They were good enough to deal with, but didn't go out of their way to do anything special for me. It was the usual salesman/manager/extended warranty runaround, but nothing out of the ordinary. I searched the internet for the best price I could find and was happy with, so I took it to them and said "match this and I'll buy it here". They agreed so I was happy since they were the most local to me. I can't remember the salesman's name because he didn't even give me a business card during the whole process.
Service has been good, but again nothing special. They take care of me per the book, but things like giving me the new brake fix before turning the rotors 2 times won't happen like some people get around here.
General impression = average

Like Slurppie, I bought mine at Stone Mountian. I really like the way sales process was handled. Service has been great and I would not hesitate to go back and buy from them again.
I bought mine from Gwinnett Place Nissan. I got it through their Internet department. They are a high volume dealership so they would give a decent price but do not do anything special for their customers.

I purchased my Titan from Bill Newton Nissan in Conyers on the east side of Atlanta on Interstate 20. I searched the Nissan USA website and Bill Newton Nissan was the only dealership that had a Titan at the time with the color and accessories that I wanted. I live in Marietta and it was about a 45 mile from Marietta to Conyers.
I had researched prices with Edmunds, CarsDirect and Consumer Report ($39 for 3 months unlimited online pricing). I knew what I was willing to pay and I took a blank check with me in case they were willing to meet my price. My salesman was a newbie in car sales from Las Vegas and the brother-in-law of the sales manager. I gave my salesman the price I was willing to pay for a total, drive out price and he took it to the sales manager. The salesman came back and said that we had a deal and he showed me the total that they came up with that was different from mine. I showed the salesman my tabulation and I found they were trying to charge me 6% sales tax when I should only pay 5% sales in Cobb County. The salesman took the figures back to the manager and came back and stated we had a deal but they had left out the $389 documentary fee.
I told the salesman that the amount that I was willing to pay for a total drive-out price included the documentary fee and if they wanted to charge me a doc fee they would have to subtract it off the price of the vehicle. A total, drive-out price is just that and includes everything, tax, title and tag.
At the time I bought 14 months ago there were no incentives such as the current $2,000 cash back in the Atlanta area. Considering their dealer invoice cost and their 2% dealer holdback, the dealer made $400 on the deal. They also made whatever advertising allowance they get from Nissan. I was satisfied with the deal but better deals can be had today. It was a straight purchase with no trade and the total transaction was about 45 minutes.
Due to their proximity, I have taken my Titan in twice to Team Nissan in Marietta. The service seems OK at this location. My only complaint is that both time my truck was returned with grimey black footprints on the door threshold and door mats that is indicative of a dirty shop. I haven't ever been inside their shop so it may just be a sloppy technician.

Thanks everyone. So far Peachtree Nissan, Regal Nissan, Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Ga, and Gwinnett Place only have loaded ones. So it looks like I am gonna have to get a sunroof that I will probably rarely use and a dvd I'm sure that my daughter will love. Now, if I can get it for $31,500 with the rebate included.

Got mine there from internet dealings also. I found the experience eerily similar to travism. They really dont push hard, if at all and basically seem like an "in and out" type of place. I was all ready to harangue them and I was there with a cahiers check, so when he said one price, I had another in mind and I told him and the deal was done. Fella didnt know squat about the truck. I basically told him more than he thought he knew. I dont know the name of my salesgoober either, but at Lithia Springs, they tend to give the internet sales to the guys over in the used car section, fwiw. The sales guy and his manager were super easy to move the process along. I would probably buy again from them and would recommend them to a friend.

Hi,I'm Troy McClure. You may remember me from such films like: "P is for Psycho", and "The President's Neck is Missing".....
I bought mine at Stone Mtn from Jimmy Walker, Internet guy. It was great. Nice guy and knew his stuff. He made me an incredible offer over the phone and was easy to buy from. There was a back and forth for my trade and so forth, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had my own financing and it took a little extra time for them to try and beat it, which they couldn't, but they tried like hell with NMAC. Overall, I was very pleased with them. Plus they were the only dealer to have a red alert CC SE.
I service mine a Regal and work with Randy Ables and he is great!! I like that dealership and did talk to them about the same truck but different color, in the end, I wanted the red alert. But I could tell they would be good to work with. Their parts dept could use a few more intelligent guys working the customer counter, but maybe I went on the wrong day and talked to the wrong guy. Overall, I would say they are good.
I bought my Xterra (traded on Titan) at Sutherlin Nissan. The sales guy was cool, but the finance guy was the classic double talker and sleezy, but I think he is gone now. When I went looking for a Titan they were extremely pushy and shady. I will not be back. I only had 1 trip to service and that was for warrany work, so no real dealings with them. Their parts dept is really good. See Chris there, he knows his stuff.
I bought mine from Gwinnett Place Nissan. I got it through their Internet department. They are a high volume dealership so they would give a decent price but do not do anything special for their customers.
Got mine from there too. Got a good price, but I'd have to agree with the customer service. Service dept. manager is cool though.
I bought mine from Town Center Nissan and was some what pleased with my sales experience. I did probably 2 - 3 months worth of research on the Titan so when I walked in to the dealership I made sure that I got the price I wanted. The whole sales experience took 5 hours but I got the exact Titan I was looking for. The service department has been a whole 'nother story. My Titan had the 'interior water" problem which I took back for repair 5 times with still no fix. I filed the GA Lemon Law, which gave Nissan one last shot at fixing the problem and they sent a factory guy out to finally fix it. I am now saddled with the spray-in bedliner problem (discoloration) which after 4 months the dealer has finally got around to fixing. I have referred 2 other family members who bought Maximas from Town Center. I can say the referrals will stop until I get the referral fees I was promised. (Still holding my breath.) I absolutely love my Titan even though I have had some first year issues. Will I buy from Town Center again, I seriously doubt it.
Nice town you have here. I am in town for a week and am staying at the Marriott Renaissance Waverly. So far I haven't seen more than the area around the hotel and Stone Mtn., but it sure is a pretty area.
