Coming from the WEST: Directions to the Meet in Raleigh, NC

IF you've never been to Raleigh the inner change on I-40/I-440/US1 can be tricky.


Going I-40 West, you will take Exit 293.

You will see this sign: (picture I40West11)

Here's the tricky part: When you exit, stay in the LEFT most lane. You will see this sign: (picture I40West22) You will need to go OVER the overpass so that you can take the off ramp and go UNDER what you just drove over.

From there:
Take Hwy US1 South through Cary and Apex. Take the New Hill exit (Exit 89) off Hwy US1. At the top of the ramp, turn left onto New Hill- Holleman Road and go approximately 3 miles and the park entrance will be on your right.

I think NC DOT decided to design the innerchange after deer runs-whichever way they need to go, go ahead and pave it!

Hell, I used to live there and that interchange is still confusing! LOL
