Re: Central Virginia Titan's

I know I can go to www.NASCAR.com or something; but exactly what day and time is this race, so we all can plan way ahead? I need to put in for vacation, I'm gonna be milking this weekend.

Excellent, that would be great. I know a few guys there too as I have bought a few vehicles from them, but since you have an inside connection, that would be awesome!!! I will be sending out the date of the race here very soon and updating everyone on what is going on.

The September Nationwide race is Friday, September 5th, 2008. You can go to www.rir.com to see all the info available. I went by the Moose lodge today to see how full the camping ground was, quite few RV's, but not packed, so hoping it will be the same way in September for those who want to bring down the RV or camper as opposed to satying in a hotel. The Nationwide race for May is today, so I was a bit suprised to see the Moose lodge RV area not completely packed, suspect it will get busier tomorrow since tomorrow is the Big race.

Titan-ization - September at the races, what a great idea!!! I have season tickets to the cup race, but there are usually plenty of tickets available to purchase for the Nationwide series race on Friday. Count me in. Let me know where exactly, and time to meet-up.

I will keep you posted, currently the plan is to meet at the Moose lodge in Mechanicsville, Va. between 11 and 12noon on Friday, September 5th, 2008 and convoy from there. It is about four miles from the track, plus if anyone wants to bring on RV or camper, they can drop off and set up at the Moose lodge and then join the convoy to the track. The Moose Lodge id located off of Cold Harbor road in Mechanicsville, Va. 23111. It is officially called the Richmond-East Va lodge # 1947.

Post Re: Central Virginia Titan's

Alright Guys and Gals,
Here is more pertinent and detailed info.,
Darkknight, I have you as RSVP'd already.

Ok all you East Coast Titan owner's. Having a meet here in Richmond, Va. on Friday Sept. 5th. Plan is to meet at the Moose lodge in Mechanicsville, Va. around noon and hange out for a bit, then drive from there to the Richmond International Raceway www.rir.com for the Nationwide series NASCAR race. I am coordinating with Victory Nissan of Mechanicsville to have a couple of their new Trucks on Display there. They said they would have no problem driving a coupe of trucks there to display. Waiting for a call back from Richmond raceway to coordinate an area for us to gather at on the grounds before the race. Parking is free and it is free to enter the grounds and participate in all of the pre-race activities, but to get into the stands to watch the race that evening, it is $35.00 general admission and $45.00 for reserved seating per person. You can go to RIR.com to get your tickets if you want to stick around for the race.
I need a count of how many people will definitely be able to make it so I can reserve the proper amount of spce for this meet. So please RSVP asap. There are two hotles in Mechanicsville if you plan to stay the night one is the Holiday inn and the other I believe is a Hampton suites inn. There are several other hotels in the area, but you need to make reservations asap as the rooms go fast. If you plan to tow an RV, please let me know so I can see if the Moose lodge will allow Rv's to stay overnight on the grounds. The Moose lodge and hotels in Mechansville are only about 7 min. away from the track. If you arrive early (before noon) call me and you can meet me at my house, it is about 1 mile from the Moose lodge. I will give you the address and directions when you call. My phone number is 210-834-4164 (mobile) or 804 559-0475 (home). Hope to see a great turnout, again RSVP asap so I can let the Public Relations department at RIR know how much rom we need.

Thanks,
Mike
