Exclamation SoCal Offroader/Atv Thread

I Thought I'd start this thread up for us offroaders with Titans. Report in and if your planning a ride post when and where so we can meet up if possible.

BTW Having a Titan is optional

I would like to get an offroad vehicle! I have a friend who's selling a Honda 200cc motorcycle, you think that would work for me?

Going back south soon....

I already went to southern CA to Greg's house to have him install my 7" CST kit ( Sweet kit by the way , and a great install as well ) but we are planning to go again in the very near future to have greg install a lift kit on my buddies Frontier...will repost here when I have details ( Will even trailer our quads if you locals know some good riding areas that we can hit up )

Where ya from shadow? there are SO many places to ride. if you like sand we got glamis or dumont and for trails i hear gorman (hungry valley) is nice right now. I myself have 3 OHV areas within 30 miles and trails that go from close to my home all the way up to big bear and arrowhead. below is one of the times i was in mojave. it was a pretty short ride.

still trying to get my helmet, boots, and rest of the gear and of course finding time to do it.

These areas are ok for a 4x2 like mine to go? I don't mind the dust. just wash it later. worried about the tires and getting stuck.

yah youll be fine in most places, although ive heard pismo can be tricky without 4wd. i busted up my wrist out in mojave saturday so i think ill be out of comission for a lil while. if you guys like sand we could head to dumont or glamis.

you might want to try chapparal motorsports in san bernie theyve got good prices.

I have a Honda 400ex and I take it out to Dove Springs, Jawbone, and California City. We go on rides that last all day and can cover 150+ miles. (There are a few places to gas up out there). out in the desert you're not confined to one area like you are in Gorman (Hungry Valley). But Gorman can be fun on a weekday when it's not busy.

Haven't ridden for a few months so I'm really looking forward to a trip soon.

Ive never herd of dove springs. where i rode in mojave connects to jawbone but the farthest ive gotten is middle knob due to gas. i agree that in the desert youre not confined, there are probly trails that connect my house to jawbone. there are just that many!
