Bear Mountain!

Went up to Bear Mountain in So-Cal for the weekend and had a blast! There was probably around 6in of snow and the roads were very rough/ICY for the most part but the BEAST did great in 4X4 with the BFG MT's and required no chaines! There are a few pic's in my signature. My sig is just one example of how cool so-cal is, you can go from the snow to sand to the ocean in less than half a day!

Re: Bear Mountain!

Sweet! That's a lot like Orygun here, takes an hour and a half to get to Mt. Hod to play in the snow, and you can backtrack over to Pacific City and play in the dunes. Gotta love the left coast.

Re: Bear Mountain!

That kind of reminds me of Florida where you can go from sand to sand and then across flat land to some sand on the other side. In one day!!!!! We ALL love sand dont we??!!! What I would give to live out west. Im envious!!! Maybe a few more years!!! Nice pics thanks!!! They give me a taste of where I want to live but cant!

oh yeah, i remember those days of learning!!! i think during the learning process which my wife had me on the top of the mountain on my 3rd run in icy conditions, i had about 3 concussions, bruised wrists, elbows, knees, tailbone and a whole bunch of other aches from trying to master it in one day!!! and just to prove how sick and twisted my wife is, i was going down the slope and the wife was on the chairlift going up and she, knowing i'd farck up, yelled out, "BABE"!!! i turned and ate sh!t as she motored up the lift, laughing her arse off!!! what a b!tch!!! LOL!!!!!

Re: Bear Mountain!

Man, It had to rain last weekend. I was so busy last long weekend. Now I am free next week. I doubt that there is still snow in the mountain area. Anyone up for Big Bear next weekend? I was waiting for the snow all year and it snow on my busy weekend.

Dude,

I hit the mountain around 1:30am and it loooked like a cluster F*** for a lot of people trying to put chains on in the dark and in the middle of a snow storm. I knew right then and there the extra cash for a 4x4 was worth it!
