nissans fix for differential failures

At first I was upset about the situation I was in at the time of my failure. So I had my truck towed to the local dealer here in Ontario, Ca. My truck got to the dealer around 1pm Monday March 13, 2006. They were able to diagnose the rear end the same day, it was pretty obvious. So I go down there around 5pm to get my rental car. A KIA RIO, I don't think so. So I returned to the dealer from Enterprise Rental Car and made them upgrade my rental. The biggest thing they had was a Nissan Murano. The next day, Tuesday I called Enterprise to see about a bigger vehicle. They had me call Nissan who said they were installing the diff as we speak. Wendsday, I traded in for a Tahoe. Thursday Nissan calls missed the phone calls so I went down after work, expecting to get my truck back. I'M SORRY SIR BUT WE RECEIVED THE WRONG PART FOR YOUR PATICULAR VEHICLE, 2005 TITAN 4X4 OFFROAD, AND YOUR DIFF IS ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER. HOPEFULLY I WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU AN ACTUAL DATE THE PART WILL COME IN BY NEXT FRIDAY, MARCH 24, 2006. IT COULD BE ANYWHERE BETWEEN A WEEK AND 6 MONTHS. Well my Tahoe had a slow leaking tire so after telling Enterprise on a rainy day I was going to sue them for neglecting to help me with my leaking tire I traded for an 06 Armada. Now I'm happy and they can take as long as they like.

Sorry to hear that, but did you file with the NHTSA? If not please do and put your complaint number in the thread for failures.
