I swear I thought we were going to luck out and hold onto an O-Coordinator and a D-Coordinator for at least 2 years...now we need to figure out who can help A. Smith and be a great offensive mind...anyone got any ideas??

Someone at work mentioned Mooch...be would he want to come back to where he used to be H.C?? (and would we want him back?)

down here we're writhing over the hire but, it is what it is... LOL!!!

at first i was pissed but getting Ted Cotrell and Ron Rivera on the D-side, i feel a lot better! that way Norvell can just concentrate on the O

Here we go again.......Who is the 2008 #1 draft pick the Niners are gonna go for??? Even Montana wouldn't have been the quaterback he became with three coordinators in three years. Better hope the Niners cap room buys a really good defense.

If I was a Chargers fan I would be just pulling my hair out over the hire of Norv Turner. He has proved he is not a good Head Coach. The guy can run an offense but he can not control and run the tream. He's proved that a couple times already.

Now he is going to land on a proven team....have a good year because the team is built....then the Chargers will crash...down in flames.

I just wish he would have stayed a couple years! I guess it tells you something on the quality of the coaching staff coming through the Niners organization seeing how many have become H.C's in the last 5 years....(Mike McCarthy, Jim Mora Jr., Norv Turner, Mike Singeltary [next year he is probably gone])

Either that or Owner John York sucks at keeping staff!

well, tell you what. all if not most of us charger fans were doing just that, but with the hiring of Ted Cotrell and Ron Rivera to anchor the Defensive side, i honestly could care less about the hiring of Norv Turner. he had some very crappy arse teams he coached and none better on paper than what he's got now, add to that, two defensive coaches who are proven!!! Norv has never had a defense, an offense, a general manager, and strong assistants than what he's getting coming in as the Chargers HC. i see this now turning out to be better than first thought.

Better he went to the Chargers than the Cowboys. If he would have had success with Dallas after leaving my Niners I would have killed myself. Great coordinator, lousy head coach. Niners will miss him. Cowboys hired another lame though.
