Who's Going? Titan Talk First annual Glamis Trip 3/09/07 to 3/11/07

Just as the Title Suggests; Who's Going? I will edit this FIRST post to reflect if someone is going and the pertinent info.

Since we seem to have a good group I want to consolidate a list of who is going, where they are staying, and if they want to meet up for a "Titan" Sand drags run meet while there. Tentatively we can schedule the run / meet for Saturday the 10th at 2p.m. California Time which is 3p.m. Arizona Time (DST isnt till the 11th right?).

Enclosed is a small map outlining the areas we have spoke about.

List of people going, Date showing up, Place you are staying if you want to go to the Sand Drags.

#01 Desert Dog - Jim 03/08/07 Vendor Row AKA Glamis Flats - Not sure about Sand Drags with truck.
#02 Faith +1 - Kevin 03/09/07 Night Vendor Row aka Glamis Flats - Will Run truck down Sand Drags.
#03 4X4SoCalTitan - Tony 03/08/07 Vendor Row - Not sure about run / going to Sand Drags.

I will be going for sure. Not sure if I'll run the Titan down the sand drags, but I'll sure run the quad.

Thats cool we can drive over with the quads in the truck and park on the side area and watch the tomfoolery :-) Its a decent drive after comp from where we are going to be camping.

Where you staying... With us or somewhere else? And when you pulling in?

I'll stay with you guys. I will have my buddy and his girlfriend with me. I plan on hitting the road around 10 AM so I will arrive at Glamis around 3PM.

Also I hope everyone brings some wood for the fire :-) Camp Fires are a must have :-)

No, we'll be there Friday the 9th. I'll bring some firewood.

I'll be there!!! not too sure what time ont he 9th now. It's looking like it will be between 7-10 PM depending on my group. We usually stay on pad 2 or 4. I have stayed on the vendor flats before because we had a friends motorhome with us.
I'll be running the truck down the drags like always!
I'll have some firewood as well!

Arent the pads down off of Gecko? We are talking bout Vendor row / flats area... I knew it was going to be a challenge saying the "Right Name" for everything cuz Im no expert I just love going to glamis :-)

Is the 2pm time frame work for you.. enough time to go on morning rides ect and have lunch then meet up before nightfall and then go to olds lol!

Yes, pads are off Gecko. I will convince everyone to stay on the vendor flats that will be riding with me. Flats usually get pretty crowded depending on the weekend.
Yea, 3PM time frame (cali time right) usually is about the right time to head over to the drags.

yah its not too early not too late and we can have lots of fun.. coolio... hope you guys can consider our site too... This isnt a major holiday weekend so it shouldnt be too bad :-)

I think its 3p.m. AZ time which is 2pm Cali time since DST doesnt happen till the 11th right?

Well I am definitely going, and I will definitely be doing the drags in my truck, and I will definitely be staying at Vendor's Row with you guys, and I definitely will be bringing firewood, and....ok enough of that. hehe.

I am waiting on Felix's response to my PM as to what time we are meeting off the 10 on Friday night. Regardless of what time we meet, we will be dropping in on you guys in the wee hours of the night. I say around 2am-3am.

Which way will you guys be taking to get to the drags from Vendor's Row? I like to go thru the dunes, its funner that way.

Man I can't wait!!

Quickest way is through the road... but I would agree we could take the trucks on the sand highway to get there.. or are you actually talking about riding the dunes in the truck? Ive never done that but would be up to checking it out :-)
