I'm seriously considering a new '07 Titan and was wondering which dealer provided the best buying experience and the best after sale service.
I went to Pacific Nissan the other day to gather info on the Costco program and the Manager became indignant because I wasn't buying that day.
From my experience of buying a vehicle, Mossy Poway seem to have the most Friendliest & Helpful staff. I went to Pacific Nissan and they all seemed to be Jerks over there. They didnt even know what features the vehicle i wanted had and they kept switching people on me.
Mossy Poway seemed to do everything they could to beat competitors prices and were open and helpful about it.

What ever you do don't go to Mossy. They don't negotiate and they treat their service customers crappy. I had a pretty good experience at Connel in Costa Mesa, but that is a bit of a drive. Best way is to call 3 dealers get the fleet mgr on the phone let him know you will only deal with him and get three prices over the phone. Ask for a list of all current rebates as not all rebates are disclosed to the public, and get your own financing before you go in.
Escondido Mossy Nissan, as far as buy a vehicle, would never do. Their service dept. has been alright for me though.
I bought my truck at Oceanside Mossy, and they were very friendly and worked with me as far as getting what I wanted. I was able to haggle the price and what they gave me for my Frontier as a trade, so you can bargain with the Mossy dealers.
Wife and I own a Titan and a fronty. Mossy in El Cajon has been great for us. Great service! When I had concerns over my baked pumpkin they replaced the whole darn rear end no questions asked. They have never refused any of our warrantee claims and always have the trucks done when they say so.
I have been to all of the Mossy's and dont really like any of them. i bought my first titan at National City, my Maxima at Kearny Mesa and my second Titan at Poway. i would say Poway is a little better than the others. when i traded in my 04 titan El Cajon offered me $16k, National City offered me $14k, and Poway gave me $19.5k. As far as maintenance goes, i have only gone to National City and havent had any issues.
you can haggle the price of your trade-in at Mossy, they don't want you to know that! the MVP price as they call it is set, but the managers behind closed doors will sit there and try to make you sweat it out, but AS soon as they feel they're going to lose the deal or they need to make the deal to reach a Quota, they will haggle like a mother*ucker. i've been on the dark side and know just how they deal. the used car manager sets the price on the trade-in, the general manager can supercede the used car manager and tell the team manager to override the trade-in offer and bump it to whatever they need. also, when you go to Mossy their goal is to sell every accessory, protectant, etc. bullsh!t. its how they make the money on the back end and how you end up getting screwed paying for stupid sh!t. i'm sure we all know this already not to get any of the extra-bullsh!t. hmmm, other than that Mossy is a great place to buy because there really isn't much of a game played like going to a traditional dealership that gives you the 4 square approach. just remember, never buy the first day you go in and... oh, one more example. if you are totally upside down on a vehicle, that too can be haggled. i once watched a GM tell the used car manager screw off, i'm working this deal. car was worth 5900k, offer to buy the trade-in was for 6k, the lady owed 9500k, offer to buy by the GM was bumped up to 9500k just to make a deal, to get her in a brand new car. so folks, it can be done and if you're just persistent enough and willing to stick to your guns! you can get a good deal. several different variables yes, but don't feel bad for the sales people, they sell cars to a lot of dumb, uninformed people. so they're making money! also, at mossy dealerships, look for the salesperson that is the newest, he/she won't be as experienced at the game of lying/deceiving and working the words to make you feel like you need/must buy.
I've purchased my last 15 nissan from national city.. I use the same sale guy and he does wonders for me any way... I get all service done from kearney mesa..
