thanks. I am trying to avoid spending more money. I have a AUX plug but cuz I have a 04 the sound is weak. I may look into that but in the mean time was just trying to figure out if anyone is using FM and if so what station(s) are they using
I think I'd still go with the aux in. Sound is just much better imo.

I tried the LOC for input on the Aux and it didnt do much for me. I then got an RCA to 8mm cable from radio shack for like 4 bucks and plugged that into my output of my Sirius. This is also where my Garmin plugs into my system.
If you dont have the dvd then thats not an option :-)

I have had a Sirius Starmate for 2 years and run it through the FM radio with no problems. I usually have it set to 89.1 since that seems to be clear where ever I drive. Sound is fine and doesn't require any additional wiring.

I use the aux port but when I used the FM transmitter I would use the higher up fm channels . They 're preset I don't know exactly what channel in the 105 or 106's worked over here. Probably have to find someone in your area.

ABSOLUTELY worth it! Before I bought my truck with it already installed, I used that FM relay with my portable. No static at all. Very strong sound and you still need to have a station designated BUT nothing bleeds thru. Kinda like steroids for you antenna. Definately a must have with all portable units in cars.

I ended up buying the FM Direct Relay, will be installing tonight. It's gunna get tricky cuz I have all kinds of wires and a plugs mounted in that area. Wish the damn cable wasnt 50ft long as I only need less than a foot
