neeeed help from a tech

i dont know if this is in the right forum or not but i need a tech local to socal to help me out with a problem im having. im a tech at a dodge dealer and own a titan and im having a ***** of a time trying to figure out my cooling fan issues. my cooling fan decided to roast itself and all the surrounding wires and blow a couple fuses. ive replaced the fan, replaced the blown fuses and relays, repaird the wires, and i still cannot get the new fan to turn on. it would be great to borrow a consult 2 for like 5 mins to see if i can accuate the fan before i continue throwing parts at my truck

if anyone else has any experience with this problem please chime in for i am at my witts end. the only things left for me to do are replace the ipdm and the bcm. which i dont really want to do.

anyone who can help me quick would be greatly appreciated for its nearing 100 degrees today and i really would like to drive with the ac on

Re: neeeed help from a tech

yeah im outside of warranty. my truck has 43k on it. when my truck had 38k on it the radiator blew out and nissan wouldnt participate in that at all. so i highly doubt they would help me out on this one.
my truck is an 06, i saw a tsb online for the condenser fans catching on fire. seems to me that if you have a product that is catching on fire, wouldnt you issue something more than a tsb? to me thats just bad business.

im local to socal, i work in irvine and live in corona.

i cant figure out nissans engineering behind this fan system. 1) the wire gauging to the fan is way too small. 2) there is 2 relays and a 40a fuse before the ipdm. howcome the fuse did not blow before the fan caught on fire? 3) why was the ipdm invented?!?! its not very intelligent if you ask me..

Re: neeeed help from a tech

Im reposting this question because I think I posted it in wrong forum, anyway im looking to replace the stock foglights with HIDs. Ive replaced the low and high beams with 6000k HIDs and now the foglights look pathetic with that yellow color. If anyone has made this swap please post a website. I cant find them anywhere. Thanx
