I have a stock 2006 Titan 2wd w/ tornado and a Flowmaster Super 40. My buddy has a stock 2007 5.7L 4X4 Tundra w/K&N replacement filter. I weigh about 6300#'s and he is around 7400#'s. I am running stock street tires and he has LT325's. He Swears that he will tear me up at the track. I think it will be more even. What do you all think? We are racing this friday 3/21/2008 at LVMS. Any simple tweaks that I can do to ensure the Titan comes out on top? Keep in mind I am low on cash right now. Anyone know where I can get some high octane race fuel?

yea he will probably beat u. you should go get a timing advance done. and before you drive to the track drive the piss out of your truck so it will up the fuel

Well, I got the 2 degree timing advance, K&N filter and 12 gallons of 100 octane race fuel and headed to the track. The truck was real responsive!
With just under 400 racers it was tough to get many runs in, especially with some of them blowing things up. We got three runs in though. I ran a 15.89 the first run at 87.4mph. The second time broke traction and smoked out for about 70 feet, got a 21+. The third was against the Tundra. I dropped the pressure in the rear tires to 26psi and smoked them up good at the line to get them sticky. I ran a 15.789 at 86.7mph. The Tundra was .77 behind me at 16.45. I have a crappy cell phone video. Sorry everyone forgot their cameras.
