CORR Race this weekend...Going?

This will be my first CORR race at Pomona...been to several in Lancaster...Lancaster had a long fast straight, how does Pomona compare?
I liked the Lancaster track, but that dang dirt bowel wind is always present...

concur! and a lot of cash... concessions are expensive as hell... no fear stores in the mall and some dudes in front of the ticket booths with 5 dollar off coupons so keep an eye out for it. the track at pomona is tight, not very many areas to make a pass. asphalt portion of the track kinda cool, but kinda not. side by side starts are ghey but less accidents than land-rush starts which ARE the sH!T.... if it was as hot as it was last month when i was up there you may want to go to target or wal-mart and buy one of them personal water misters.... family a few feet to my left had one and the breeze blew the mist my way... absolutely refreshing considering how hot it gets there. best vantage point to view is right in the middle, the higher the better! expect to see Rob Mac just kick everyone's aass again. renezeder may give him a fight and huseman has been running strong. i think greaves is having identity crisis learning his new pro2 then jumping back to his pro4... perhaps renezeder will have new ford body FRP panels as the titan ones with ford decals of an f150 grill and headlights is ABSOLUTELY DUMB looking. other than that, have fun!

btw, i would go but long road trips are becoming increasingly harder to pull the trigger on especially with gas prices at: $4.49, $4.59 and $4.69.... uh yeah... f*ck that! i'll just wait till they get to the best track in CORR.... CHOOOOOLIE-JUANA!!!!!

We're supposed to be start/finish a couple of rows from the top...sound good?

Yeah I feel you...This $4.25 per gal has curbed several trips that used to be a small financial inconvenience, but now a major financial consideration...Sucks!

tell me about it... i buy gas at costco as it is, for the most part, cheaper than any other place in the county but i still filled the tank up on sunday and it cost 93 bucks... really makes you think twice about what you do that involves having to drive more than a handful of miles. i'm thinking of buying a used/prer-owned mx bike and slapping a baja designs dual sport street-legal kit on it... any recommendations as i am serious about buying one?

I have a Class "M" d/license and that's sounding good to me...I'll burn up $30 just running around town on a weekend..

You're not involved with the CORR races anymore? I thought you volunteered to help with track control?

Re: CORR Race this weekend...Going?

I'm going to try to make it, I went to last Pomona race and got to go to the second race at Primm NV, hope I can make it three in a row. When we go we usually sit on the top row just to the left of the start/finish line, hope to see you guy's out there.

cant do it anymore, not like that, you either have to buy a bike that has already been converted and titled as a street registered bike or you have to buy a brand new street-legal from the factory bike, california changed the laws in '03 I believe to make it impossible to street register an offroad bike....

look for a streetlegal XR400
