I was at that meet and I don't remember any winds, fires or being trapped on the 15N for 1.5hrs. The meet was fun but the trip home sucked badly if we do that again I will remember to carry more empty gatorade bottles.

don't know where aQuaHolic is these days but he and CVtitan put the Silver Strand meets I and II together and they were fun as hell... perfect location right along the beach down in Coronado (souf of the city of san diego) and nice and cool with an ocean breeze. we barbecued, ate tons of food and drank beer to our guts content! speaking for a few San Diego county titan forum members, i say we have it down there again for the 3rd Silver Strand event! you can rent a camp site and make a weekend out of it too if that floats your boat. but beach, breeze, ocean, sand all sound muy bueno to me! let's DO IT!!!! aquaholic/CV where are you???

funny, here's a map provided by P's titan back in 06 from the meet thread back then. you can have an idea where silver strand beach is!

good question! for sure a sunday has always been best for everyone so bet on it being a sunday! f**k it... let's do it!
