Nice, off to a good start.
Some old friends and some new one's.
Looking forward to this meet, and a cruise through the Dez.
Please forgive me, I may haul a$$ at times

Yeah I'm in!....
Got a tease for you...Just picked up a set of Light Racing bump stops!!
Everybody knows I've had problems with the shocks bottoming out with the factory rubber snubber, so...
Here's my next suspension move...
I'll be running Greg's shackles, but in the stock position to raise the rear of the truck about .750", this will give me about 6" of compression and 4" of droop as opposed to the 5 and 5...
The L/Racing bumps are about 3-4 inch shorter then the more common King/SAW/Fox styles which means being able to install them with out cutting into the bed.
I've talked to Greg, we're going to do a valving change to my rear SAW's in the next few weeks to sweetin' the ride...
This should work real sweet as I blow thru my spring pack a little too easy....The L/Racing units are much beefier in person then I thought they'ed be and you can adjust compression & rebound damping externally with just a small allen wrench...Theses are the 3" travel models, perfect for my use because I don't want them to come in too soon or too late...
Here's a pic of the bump along with a rough install drawing...
Nice, what is the difference between there design and the other shock manufacturers bump.

The other guys have great bumps, so it's not that type of issue....but this unit has just the right amount of travel(2 inchs not enough, 4" too much for only about 10" of travel) being 3". The other units can be shortened up from 4" of travel down to whatever your needs are, but they need to be diss-assembled and a spacer installed. The L/R units are only 10.00 " fully extended WITH the rubber lower foot and the screw on upper mount....That's at least 3" shorter then the other ones...
The L/R units have a 2.375"(2-3/8") piston, so it's right between the 2" and 2.5" units...

I don't remember seeing a Titan with rear air bumps....At least not one that didn't have shocks running thru the bed...

DJtitan has them. he's had airbumps since our Johnson Valley offroad meet back in 07. greg had one of his fab guys install it for DJtitan. aside from greg having them in 06, djtitan is the only one i've seen have airbumps in the rear.
good thing to have lou..

Taking out new guys off-roading is like snow sking, only an a-hole takes you up to the top and thru the mogels on the way down...your first time out...
You learn to go only as fast as your truck will do so without beating the heck out of it...We stop plenty of times to re-group, so nobody should be pressured to "overdrive" their truck....
