Great! I might order this before I pick my Titan up next week. Have all the issues that people were having in the other threads been resolved? Or are there still some major vibration and whistling issues?

Seem that not everyone is having thos problems, and can be fixed by installing the lid in a certain sequence. I have no vibrations or whistling issues. So far I'm very pleased with it. I got more low end than before and can burn the tires from a dead stop on dry pavement, something I couldn't do before. I had a WRX sti behind me at a light today and I was at the front, so I lit them up, got a little side ways and kept in it till about 70mph. The whole time the sti was following, once I started cruising he passed on my outside and gave me a big grin and a wave. Pretty funny.

No I haven't reset my ECU yet. I've been doing some work on the stereo, so that's kept me from messing with anything. Someone, I forgot who, mentioned that when tightening the screws for the lid to push the lid to the right as you tighten them. I just did that and got it nice and tight, never had any vibrations. If that fails, then a few rubber pads or weather stripping should work fine.

out of 40 purchases, I think I've heard a total of 6 or 7 that had this issue. On any major issues, AFE seems to be standing behind their product and every one has been pretty satisfied with their customer service and willingness to resolve the issue. and if, in the end, any one is at all dissatisfied, SparkPlugs.com will always do whatever it takes to keep you happy - so if you're not happy with your purchase, you're welcome to return it for a full refund.

sparkplugs.com,
just wanted to say thanks for the great service. as hard as it is too believe, not all vendors, especially enternet sellers, realize how far they can get with this type of service. although there isn't near enough stuff out there for the titan yet you can bet yall earned a great deal of future business from the titan crowd as more mods become available.

Thanks Ryan - great customer service has always been our #1 priority - even if it means we loose money. If there's ever any thing we can do to improve our service, or if you experience a problem that isn't handled correctly, please let us know.

I talked to our AFE rep, and he talked to Engineering. Engineering says cust serv and techs that we've all talked to before haven't been relaying to them this issue because they hadn't heard anything about it. They requested two things. #1, name and all contact information (address, telephone# and email) for everyone that has had the vibration issue, or any other problem(if its not the vibration issue, please specify what problem you've had) and #2, if there's anyone that has had the vibration problem and lives close enough to Riverside, CA that they would be willing to take a visit to AFE headquarters, they would like a guinea pig, per say so they can figure out what the problem is. If everyone could please PM me their information to be put on this list, that is, if you'd like AFE to fix yours, we would appreciate it. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, and I hope it can be remedied soon!

Thanks again for your help and participation!

I only have 4 on my list to give to AFE of guys with the vibration problem - I'm going to submit it to AFE on Wednesday ~ if you want to be put on the list for AFE to look into the problem, please PM me with your contact information. The more people we put on this list, the greater problem it will appear to be to AFE and the more emphasis they'll put on fixing it.

Whistler discovered AFE's website shows the wrong part number for the pre-filters on the Titan, the correct pre-filters are listed with the Frontier (they both use the same replacement filter):

These are incorrect:
28-10091 (Gold)
28-10092 (Red)
28-10093 (Black)
28-10094 (Blue)

These are correct:
28-10051 (Gold)
28-10052 (Red)
28-10053 (Black)
28-10054 (Blue)

The TitanTalk.com coupon has been extended to work until the 28th.

Thanks for posting this. Whistler gave me a heads up on it, but I think my order for the prefilter and oil charger kit had already gone out. I spoke to a gal with your company on Friday, and she was gonna try to intercept the order and correct it, but it may have been too late.
