Please post SC specs and performance data so we can seriously consider our purchasing options. $6,000 is not easy money to part with in a guessing game. Without the specs and performance data, my 50-50 chance is better at the Casino.
This is in regards to the recent Stillen Supercharger issues discussed here on the forum. Please understand that this project is nearing completion but performance numbers and pricing must remain preliminary at this point and is subject to change.
At present, our Research and Development team is in final tuning stages of the system. Our preliminary power numbers (as registered on our Dynojet dyno at the rear wheels ) at this point stand at 387hp and 418 torque. This is an increase of 110 hp and 84 ft/lbs over stock at the wheels. (For comparison purposes please note that these rear wheel numbers equate to 425 hp and 475 ft/lbs at the flywheel.)
Also, its important to note that we have tested numerous production Titans from Nissan in order to get a firm base line to judge against for stock performance. What we have found is that stock Titan horsepower numbers have varied from the mid 260s to mid 270s. We are using one of the higher base lines we've found, hence our data moving forward will state increase against a base of 276.
On another related note. The STILLEN systems not only provide the stated gain in horsepower, but the system has been developed to provide "through the powerband" increases, not just upper end. This has been true with all of our supercharger systems. The STILLEN superchargers will also offer an optional 3 year 36,000 mile ENGINE warranty along with CARB pending status until such time as we receive CARB certification.
Look for more detailed information on our website at www.stillen.com in the next few days.
