Re: Polished Ceramic Coated Stillen Headers

well initial impressions of the cats and resos issssss.......

AWESOME. Love the combo. Here's a pic to see how it looks. However if you do this you'll never get a cat back to bolt up again.

We do offer them ceramic coated...The ones in the very first post from RB's were ceramic coated before we shipped them.

Yup Mark had a leak at the flange...That's why he has a brand new set that he should be receiving today...Lifetime warranty.

Re: Polished Ceramic Coated Stillen Headers

Just a update. All is good the exhaust setup is slightly louder than it was the first weeks but it still gets compliments. When the guys drove my truck Sunday they said they liked it....quiet Thunder was mentioned.

Also the ceramic coating Stillen had done seems to be holding up fine it has started to look a little less polished chrome like but it's still cool and no peeling and no rust.

I looked into this last thursday and unfortunately we sold out of the ceramic coated on Friday...But, I grabbed a few of the untreated Stainless sets and took them over to our coaters. I got them back today so they should be good to go.

I had my muffler shop order 6 two bolt flanges which they used two and welded the rest. The cats had two flanges welded to them and then bolted to the headers. The Magnaflow cats have about 2.5" of pipe on each end to weld to. In my picture above you can see that once you add cats to the headers there is not much more space for anything else and thus your cat back will likely need to cut some in order to fit if your going to add resonaters as I did.
