Stillen Titan Lowering Kit?

Can someone who is using this mod, Stillen 3'' Rear Leaf Spring Kit tell me about it? What is the ride like, and is it easy to install?

Truck is 2007 LE CrewCab 2WD

Thanks!

Well they have been out for a while. Kinda got a steep price on them. Most the guys on this site are into the lifting end of it but there are a few with dropped Titans.

Yeah, I'm going for that dropped look, running either 22" or 24" rims. I'm really interisted in this lowing kit, just need more information.

The Stillen springs are nice but you can't beat the price on the drop shackles on eBay. You can get them for about $80 to your house. The shackles only give you a two inch drop. I have them and still do not bottom out when towing.
Peace
JG

I will look into this... two inches is about all I need. Thanks!

Re: Stillen Titan Lowering Kit?

They advertise 2" but before and after measurements is about 1.25". It still helps and made my 2wd look the way it should from the factory. For now I run 20X8.5 rims with 285/50/20 tires and the wheel gap seems good to me. Also I may do a complete McGaughy's kit in the future.

Yeah I heard the same thing about the shackles. I heard some say you won't even get an 1", more like 3/4". That will not work for me. I need at least 1.5" to make it worth it. Even if I have to pay $200+, I want 1.5". If I get at least 1.5" with the ebay shackles, only then would I buy it. For $80 I could run them for a while get my moneys worth then buy a bigger kit like the McGaughy's.

The McGaughy's I was looking at is 2" front and 3" rear. I think this is the only kit they make for the Titan anyway?
