Re: Group Buy on VKPRO power module

Baseballfanz,

What does VVT give the 07 that 04-06 don't have. I tried to search the forum, but I didn't find anything on VVT. Does anyone have links to posts on it so I can edumicate myself?

Thanks!

Variable Valve Timing on the intake side, that's probaly where the extra HP come from mostly, maybe with the redesign exhaust also.

Re: Group Buy on VKPRO power module

Engine speed changes the intake valve timing to be more efficient, thus producing more power when possible. It takes into account the varying dynamics of air flow, velocity etc.

The exhaust should be an influence too, as BBF said.

There may be a change in the actual intake manifold shape internally, but I'm not certain, and I don't want to start a bad rumour. Hopefully somebody can confirm or deny this.

Is this rwhp? Also, are those gains from the module alone or is it a combination of headers, intake and module?

I think I already know the answer to this, but does the module eliminate the torque management that prevents WOT under 40mph?

The moudule is design to work with an intake/exhaust. I believe that's where the numbers come from. No the Stillen module does not address the DBW.

Re: Group Buy on VKPRO power module

There is a pre-authorization done. Simply to show that the money is in fact available. The funds will not actually be removed until the parts have shipped. The pre-authorization falls off after a couple days.

The pre-orders are working really well. In total we have about 30 pre-sold already. make sure you order yours soon before the first batch is sold out.
