Re: My Stillen experience

I just looked again and the description for these http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=BPPVROTR01&c=BR
says 2 piece but when you click on the actual product to order it it shows that they are 1 piece

Your not going anywhere!! You'll be back!! You cant help but look at the responses. LOL Stillen has a very good rep with alot of very satisfied customers on this site. I have a feeling you got sore with them before they could help you and like most people do when attacked they said here is a can of spray paint fix it yourself ****!! Not saying you DID that, just speculation. I could be wrong. (BTW I need to try the spray paint line next time a customer get sore with me!!)

Re: My Stillen experience

I haven't ordered any products from them (yet), but based off my two personal phone calls to Kyle, I find this 'problem' very hard to believe. They are very courteous and friendly. Additionally, they strive hard to take care of the Titan community. Whoever said 'here's black spray paint' should get the axe over there, if in fact it really did happen. However, it's wrong, and extremely far fetched to assume the entire company is run that way. Kyle's number has been posted, use it. If they didn't respond to e-mails, a phone call is the best way to get in touch with them.

And just to refute what you posted, I started a thread about a group-buy on the VK Module two days ago, and spoke to kyle yesterday. The group-buy was just a proposal, nothing official. The end result? A group buy for the VK module, which has never been done on a Stillen product. Sorry to say, but I think Stillen is an excellent company.

I hope Kyle doesn't mind me posting this. I sent him a PM and this was his response.

I find it hard to believe that a salesman would offer black spray instead anodized rotors. Just wanted you guys to be aware.

I have kept an eye on this thread. I don't like to post on a thread that bash's stillen directly. If it is a discussion about our product, then I will absolutely stand up and say something. But, in a situation like this everyone knows that we try very hard to satisfy our customers and you can see how supportive our customers are. The "spray paint" that was offered is not spray paint. It is a VHT high-temp paint that is used on race cars, so peeling or heat wear is definitely not a concern.
It appears that stillen did offer a paint, but the OP did not understand??? I think he might have gotten mad and either not understood what they were offering or did not communicate what he wanted???????? I don't know. Maybe he didn't understand what he was ordering.........I am just guessing. I still support Stillen and think this was a misundertanding that got blown out of proportion. I hope he gets it straightened out!!

Admit it, you are a closet pimp looking for an excuse to cruise those gold rotors.

I must say that I have bought rotors, pads & a sway bar from Stillen and have had excellent service from them. About the time I was looking for a confirming email on the sway bar order, the UPS guy was delivering the sway bar to my door.

Re: My Stillen experience

I don't think it was Club Mayberry being offended by TT, but the hard headedness of the individual. Enough has been said and exposed about this particular gentleman, nothing else is going to be beneficial.
