Re: Can's and Can not's of VKPro

Any Benefit to running 100 octane with the VK pro? New VP gas station just a block from my house lol.

It does require 91 or higher octane. And will not work on 2007's.
Kyle, does this mean that 2007 models are not on the radar screen for a VKPro module? Or will the module be offered if it is determined that the 2007 and 2008 engine management is similar?

The cost difference for a fillup using 91 instead of 87 would be less than $5 per tank.

When times are tight, every dollar counts. My wife works on commission. There are good months and bad. And since our truck has really bad mileage, and I drive a distance to work and back, you can multiply that $5 by 10 = $50.

I'm sure there are...We haven't done any testing but higher octane is always good. I played with some 101 octane in my truck in Glamis...She liked it alot.

2007 and 2008 will get a VKPro module. We just haven't had enough time with a vehicle yet.

Not yet. According to Kyle they will start shipping next week. The company making the harness are suppose to give them all of what they have so far and will start shipping the harnesses to Stillen as they complete them so Stillen can turn out the pre orders for the VK PRO. The complete units will be shipped from Stillen in the order they were ordered. So, we will see soon. I hope.

If you plan on getting the vkpro you don't want the advance. If you want the advance and do not plan on getting the vkpro you will have to check around because a lot of dealers wont do it.
