Re: Pioneer AVIC-D3 DVD/Navigation $870

I couldn't imagine the 8019 being much better than the 8017. The H701 is bad @ss. Don't get the wrong idea folks, the 8017 and these Pioneers are great head units. Lizards has very delicate ears.

Lizard is a true sq guys , thats why i asked him to help out answering questions on the forum with me. In my older years i am getting a little closed minded and its nice to have a guy around with real sq knowledge and he is not afraid to tell you how he feels about something. And like me . he hates audio myths.

If the price was right I would be down for one of those 8019s.

they shipped on last friday from kenwood . see when you are an authorized kenwood excelon dealer you get free freight on 3000 dollar orders . the only problem is they use the slowest damn freight in the world. price on the 8019 will be 1099 shipped in the 48 states. i have six already sold retail here for more than that. im not sure how many i will get i ordered 10 but not sure how many i am getting yet

Well if you didn't live in the boondocks maybe it wouldn't take so long for you to receive your shipments. Whats the UPS man drive out there, horse and buggy? No wonder it cost you $75 to ship your damn enclosures.

What adaptor did you use? Did you install any resistors? Are the buttons delayed?
