1st Hemi kill

I was on my way to work this morning coming down the feeder of I-10.
Some other truck up my butt, gave it some gas hit my turn signal for my favorite short cut road.
He followed still on my arse, go thru the "S" curve (chicane) sliding the rear a bit on the exit.
Did put some distance on him look back he's charging again at me!
So naturally I stick my foot to the floor and watched em in my mirror as his headlights started to slowly fade behind me!

I've alway's complained a little bit about the body roll on the Titan, but I was pretty happy with the way I was able to control the slide's thru the S turn at speed and under acceleration.
Now I didn't smoke the Hemi, but I did pull away.
We got to the next light he gave me the nod and a thumb's up (or was it the finger?)
Either way a kill is a kill!

I dont know......... to me a kill is a straight up next to one another race. If you are in front, you have a definite advantage when you punch it. Its very hard for someone behind you to catch up because they have to wait until you move before they can accelerate. It takes major power to overcome that delay.

My problem exactly - most of the hemi guyz just look the other way, kinda like they're doing it on purpose. Guess they heard something about messing with the beast........

I got'em in the curves and on the straight.
When I came out of the curve I let up a bit.
It is a 2 lane rd (2 lanes ea. way)
So he came again on the straight is when I floored it, when his front bumper was near my back door..
In the closing of the straight (roughly 1/2 mile) I had him by 2-3 truck lengths..
Like I said I barely pulled em..
Also my truck is new with about 1400 miles on it, this is the first time I REALLY got to romp on it..
I will be grining all day!!

scared!

A couple of days ago I was heading home on a 3 lane. The left lane turns into a left turn only at a stop light. The turn lane has a small merge lane just passed the light. Somebody always tries to beat the middle lane of the line to get over. Anyway I was sitting in the middle lane, on red, I checked my mirror to see if anybody was gonna try me from the left, and what do I see.....a Hemi Quad. I was so ready for him to pull up next to me, to try it. But he stayed back next to the car behind me. The light went green and he just limped over behind me. I guess thats RESPECT for ya.

That's the best HEMI kill story I've heard yet. This guy didn't even want you try. No dummy though. Would you bring a toothpick to a gunfight??

I'm still looking for a Hemi. None of them seem to want to play, especially with the Banks sound.
