Excellent idea techi. I will try and be there around 1:30 to find a good spot for us all to meet. Remember, bring your own food if you choose to eat since this is just our first meet and we really haven't gone out our way to organize anything big. Hopefully that will happen eventually. Is there anyone else that is planning on being there that early? If so, post your answer so that I can look out for you. Please describe your truck as well and also do what techiboi suggested...leave your tailgate down.

Nope...didn't know that. Thanks for the clarification however. Looking forward to seeing you at our next meet as well. I sure hope this first one is a success. It's going to be nice to meet everyone.

sorry for the late reply. i've been looking into getting another car...in addition to the titan.

i'm thinking about an 84 or 85 mazda rx-7. i want to get back into drag racing & autox.

i'll be at the meet, assuming work doesn't suddenly come up. doesn't look like i'll be working this weekend, might even go to the auto show on saturday

count me at in.

From what I've been reading, there's a 20% chance of rain and it's supposed to be in the upper 60's.

To make things worse, my Armada is still in the shop and will be this weekend. I'm in a stinky *** old Chevy Trailblazer (dubbed "stinky" appropriately enough) I'm going to trade it back for some other rental tomorrow.

Hey everyone. It looks like the weather is looking up for Sunday. They were calling it 60% for Sunday just 2 days ago. Now they are saying 0% chance for Saturday and 30% chance for Sunday. Hopefully as the day draws near, the rain chances will continue to decrease. I will see you all on Sunday, but I may not have a grill on my truck. I am trying to work out a trade with SmokedTitan to trade grilles with him.

For some stupid assenign reason I thought the meet was for saturday!!
I'm in for sunday, I pretty sure the MX track will be rained out(muddy) so I have nothing else to do....

I can certainly meet you somewhere if you like and you can follow. I plan on being there around 1:30 which means that we need to be on I-10 around 1ish. I also saw on the news this morning that there will be entrance ramps and exit ramps shut down at I-10 and 610W this weekend. I'm not sure which ones but for all that are coming, it would sure be a good idea to make sure that you have an alternate route.
Back to what I was saying, it would be much better if there were two of us there instead of just one at an earlier time. That pretty much makes it twice as apparent that we are the group that all should be looking for. Also, we will drop our tailgates to indicate that its us.
So are you going by yourself? Where would you like to meet up at?

I will probaly have a yellow dirt bike in the bed, just in case my buddy call's and say's the track is good.
