Houston Supercross

It would have been better to post this before, but who is going to SX today? We will be leaving in an hour or so to go down and watch practice. I'm just curious how many other TT members will be there.

I think VShortt and Moto-Max-Titan are going. Anyone else?

Oh, our tickets are in section 109 row H seats 16, 17, 18.

Nevermind. I re-read. Three seats...three people. Say no more.

That's affirmative! This is the first year we are taking my daughter. I am skeptical because we will be there all day and I think she will get bored too fast.

I suppose thats a possibility. Just be glad its not an event that really requires ear plugs. Atleast I don't think it is.

We're taking ear plugs for her. It can get loud, but my wife and I sacrifice our hearing for it because we want the full effect. The good thing is that in Reliant Stadium, they crack the roof open so the exhaust can escape and we don't lose as many lung cells as we did in the Dome.

It's usually the loudest when they are fighting for holeshot. Other than that, the sound because distributed pretty well once the field scatters. As far as the lung cells go, lets face it. That's the least of my concerns. Besides I love the smell of two stroke oil.

I hate 2 stroke engines of all types. I am glad that the guys are converting to 4 cycle engines. And the 4's sounds soooo much better than the whiney little 2 strokers. It's like the difference in a muscle car/Titan vs a little rice burner civic.

I like 2 strokes myself. Lots of power in a little package. The four strokers are great and reliable, but they sound funny to me. Like their bogging or something.

Well, the 250 main let us down, but there was some good stuff before that! We were about 10 rows up from the first hump of the double-double/triple/quad jump after the turn where Chad Reed munched it trying to exact revenge on Bubba.

That little #2 on the KTM Jr. SX was definitely airing it out! I wonder if he will ever make it to the big leagues and we will see him again.

I mainly go to Rio Bravo because it's not crowded. Not the best track for for a knob like me it works out fine.
