If I traded him, then I would not need the lock cylinder from my truck because I would be getting his without the hole. Since I put power locks on my truck I wouldn't need it anymore anyway.

okay, my thinking is a bit off. (jobless for the past few weeks = brain on vacation)
looks like all i need to buy is the escutheon for the rear passenger side door of an XE crew cab.
good idea. i PM'd m95roadster for advice, so we'll see what he did.
You're right. I looked at the escutcheons that I have in the box. The part number is exactly the same for both left and right sides. This means the rears doors are probably the same on both sides as well. As a matter of fact the door handles themselves can be either L or R also.

I replaced my XE with LE handles. You will have to modify the LE escutcheon to fit over the lock cylinder. There are cross braces inside the LE escutcheon that need to be trimmed to fit over the cylinder. A pair of dikes works well for this.

When it rains it pours, huh? Aggie you were looking for a trade yesterday and not only have you found it, but you are getting plenty of ideas on how to install them. COOL!!
