i have no key cylinder in the passenger side due to the power locks, meaning the XE passenger handle will leave me with a hole, correct.

only possible soluntion is to use a handle from the rear passenger door of an XE
The other issue is that the XE is going to have a cylinder for that handle, but no hole to stick it in.

(and no smart a** comments from any of you about that!)

If I traded him, then I would not need the lock cylinder from my truck because I would be getting his without the hole. Since I put power locks on my truck I wouldn't need it anymore anyway.

looks like all i need to buy is the escutheon for the rear passenger side door of an XE crew cab.

good idea. i PM'd m95roadster for advice, so we'll see what he did.

You're right. I looked at the escutcheons that I have in the box. The part number is exactly the same for both left and right sides. This means the rears doors are probably the same on both sides as well. As a matter of fact the door handles themselves can be either L or R also.

I replaced my XE with LE handles. You will have to modify the LE escutcheon to fit over the lock cylinder. There are cross braces inside the LE escutcheon that need to be trimmed to fit over the cylinder. A pair of dikes works well for this.

QWIKWHIP put up a great thread on "the other titan forum" with a how-to on the changeover, complete with a part numbers and pictures.

I'm going trade for most of the parts, and order the one escuchian w/out the keyhole from the stealer.

Happy Trading, y'all!
