I was just thinking about it... Can I even bring an outside pit into this park? I know some require you to use the ones they have built-in there.

It's also very cool of you that you aren't trying to hide this from your wife, and that you've been most respectful of her and yourself on this forum, and not said anything you have to hide from her. Very respectable!

Thanks Titan4x4. I love my husband and consider myself extremely blessed to have him in my life. God truly, truly blessed me with an awesome family. And I love beign able to share things with my husband! He is WAY cool!

From what I've seen, most of the guys (and girls) in this forum are upstanding, especially the ones that I have met in person. I am looking forward to meeting the rest of you on the 22nd!

Where did the wronghorn, er, longwhorn fan go? He said in the other thread he would come to this one and pick something to bring.

That's fine, as long as he doesn't bring burnt oranges, or anything of that color...

The city ordinances don't mention the use of a grille in the parks, but I will be calling today just to make sure. I should be bringing my gas grille unless there are some "purists" who want charcoal. If you just have to have charcoal, let me know now so I can bring something else. I'm just thinking about time for cooking as the reason for bringing the gas grille. Don't worry about it running out of gas. You'll understand what I mean when you see it.

Thanks for handling this, the head. I haven't had time to look into this issue at all.

I have started a new thread with everything from this thread and the other thread condensed into one.

cjr02 - I am putting you down for NA Drinks and ICE.

All that remains food-wise is condiments and paperplates / towel / plasticware etc

We're cool on the grille. You can bring either charcoal or gas. The only thing they said you couldn't bring is one of the big ones that is towed behind your vehicle.
